1987 40’ Newell Classic. What a Grand Lady this is and a very unique build. Very few others, if any, were built with a 3” raised roof and without a mid-coach ‘girdle’ of horizontal aluminum, affording a paint scheme that leaves one believing it to be much newer than reality. On the inside, a complete gut and refurbish, resulting in a bright and cheery atmosphere, again eliciting the sense of being in a much later model coach. Add the 3” of headroom and it’s akin to the feeling derived from being in a home with ten-foot ceilings. The downside of this coach is that it has been dormant and outdoors for over a decade and the clear-coat and some of the paint have paid the price. The upside, it’s located in a very dry climate. Nonetheless, mechanically it has been exercised and runs well. It is offered for sale in Calgary, Canada.
