The PSG tstat, which would be original has a built in delay of 3 to 5 minutes when you switch from one mode to the other, or you make a change in setpoint. That also includes a built in delay to return to ACUTAL reading. The purpose of the delay is to prevent short cycling of the AC compressors. It can be frustrating, and we can argue that it should be different, but that is the way it was designed.

Again, not trying to talk you out of a tstat upgrade, just trying to help you learn the quirks of a new to you coach. This is the Micro Aire model you would need. https://www.microair.net/collections/eas...3892909270

I like the micro Aire better because it has an adjustable deadband. The Coleman replacement has the same issues as the original PSG with time delays. Plus there is one issue you don’t know about yet. The tight deadband causes the AC units to cycle frequently when the sun is shining on the side of the coach where the tstat is located. That is tough on the AC compressors.

I see.  Thank you for the info.  If I don't have to I don't want to upgrade the t stats.  I just thought they were wore out and didn't function well.  Now that I know i'll keep that in mind.  

First I need to get the check valves opened up, and that one cube pump relay changed for the heat side.  The AC side is a different story.

Going to service my Aquahot this weekend. But I was just thinking, I thought my problems were the check valves. But if that was the case would it be hot right before the check valves here??

If the valves are stuck the hoses will be cold and the copper under the pumps will get hot, as long as the "stir pump" is working. Center pump. Thats the one that circulates fluid no matter what.

I’ll have to check that center pump.  Maybe I’ll jump the relay to make sure that pump is running

1.  I drained all the old boiler fluid out and replaced with green automotive antifreeze and distilled water
2.  I put in new stainless swing check valves
3.  I put the radiator pressure tester on the filler neck and pumped to 15 pounds and jumped the relays on the pumps to prime them.  Then refilled with antifreeze.  I had to repeat this process several times to get it totally full. Here are some pics
