I don't think at this point the date is an issue for us. I will call the city this week and see wwhT I can find out for reservations. They typically stop taking reservations by now I think, but for a group maybe we can arrange it.

Tom are you referring to the Sturgis Rally? If so that is the second week in August I think so we should be fine.

Well, this is beginning to shape up as a real, full blown, authentic mini-rally! Looks like the rate is $30/night for regular sites, and $34/night for premium sites, which I would assume have a river view. Looking forward to hear what Todd finds out!

The FMCA rally this year is at Gillette, Wyoming, June 19-22. I am planning to attend the rally and it would be great to shoot over to Deadwood for a Newell rally. As to the motorcycle rally, I was there last year during the rally and it was interesting, but not a problem for our group of 20 motorhomes on a tour.
