Arizona Spring 2023
#1

After 4 days travel from TN to Arizona we are tucked into site 104 at Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction, AZ. We had an adventure getting here through Arkansas rain, OK/TX wind and mud storm and tornado warnings and finally 29 degree temps in Grants New Mexico... but all that just added to the excitement and was all worth it to be able to call this beautiful place home for 14 days...  Safe Travel friends!

Have you been here before? Great 4X4 trails near Florence and Superior. Tortilla Flats is fun, lots to see near Lost Dutchman. Sat Mar 04 65th Annual Cactus Fly-in & Hot Rod Show at Casa Grande. Dwarf Car Museum etc.

Welcome to  AR, OK, and TX in the spring, if you don't like the weather wait a day and it will change.

Those pictures are wonderful, we have driven through that area but in early morning before dawn looks like another bucket list place for us.

Hello Jim! We discovered Lost Dutchman by accident last year while on a fly out trip (before we had the coach) and we fell in love with the area. We got an offroad permit for Bulldog Canyon and did some great 4 wheeling there. We have the rooftop tent on the jeep and plan to camp one night this week there for the adventure of it. Thanks for tips on the car show… we may check it out if I can talk Angi into it Smile

Have a great weekend!
Paul

Here's a place to go Coke Ovens I usually look from above now, it's kinda rough on wheels.  We were over it today.

Welcome to AZ! We are also close to you on Ellsworth and the US60. My coach is a brick until the Bennett shifter comes back from the rebuilder...
