UPDATE,
Glassboss sent out a different repair guy that they flew in from Florida and I could tell immediately he knew what he was doing. I had a total of 8 windows fixed and 1 new glass made. Overall the windows look great (no fog) I have one that didn't seem to get set quite right but Alex the guy from Florida tried his best.
If I choose to keep 746 which is up in the air at the moment I'd only suggest that Alex does the repair, just my opinion based on observing his work ethic and attention to doing the best he can. The warranty I was given was only four years, I thought it was ten years too. I lost six years somehow
Ok what's next??? You know it'll always be something!!

Alex flew in for my repair also. Alex (Florida), Jessee (Mesa, AZ) and Joe the owner (CA) are the 3 experienced guys at Auto Glass Boss. I had Jessee do a little work for me last week. He was telling me about the difficulty of hiring workers that would actually show up. One left him stranded at the Tucson FMCA rally, no notice, just didn't show up.
Good that you were able to git-r-done.

Do not confuse this company with RV Glass Masters who are located in Lakeland Florida. I have used them and they do excellent work. I have also referred a couple of fellow RVers and they also have been extremely happy

We just worked with "Joe & his crew at Auto Glass Boss", we talked extensively before we drove 700 miles to Orlando and he never mentioned that the windows could be etched, "Etching on glass, causing a cloudy or hazy appearance, is primarily due to a chemical process where water, dissolves the surface of the glass, leaving microscopic scratches, making it hard to see through and rendering the window unit non-repairable" Alex (who doesn't speak a word of English) worked with another guy, they are great workers and knew Newells well, he should have stopped and alerted us after he found the first etched window. Taking the windows out, cleaning them and re-installing them was plan A, there was no plan B. Of the 7 windows he did, only 2 turned out good the other 5 had some level of etching. We still have 8 more fogged windows. Newell tells us they can't get new windows anymore. Last year we talked with Wise RV Glass in Georgia we may go back to him but he may have trouble getting the windows as well.

Hmmmmmmm, glass can be professionally polished with cerium oxide. Just because the people who worked on your windows did not know how to get them clean, doesn’t mean they can’t be cleaned.
And as a chemical engineer, it takes some pretty strong and special acids to actually etch glass. Think about all the wicked chemicals that are only shipped in glass. Much easier to mechanically etch with a blaster, but that didn’t happen inside the double panes.
Please do more investigation on glass polishing before you give up. You might also look into formic acid to clean the residue off the inside of the glass. It is often used to ensure laboratory glassware is super clean.
