1st post, looking for info on monster battery fuse size.
#1

We just purchased a '91 Newell 'project'. Going through everything trying to get it all working as it should.

I tried searching here and, in the manuals, and can't find the info I need.
I was tightening all the loose battery connections and the big fuse on the ground side crumbled in my hands.
Does anyone know the amperage rating on these? I will probably replace both and get a couple spares...

Next project will be the Primus system, lol! Wish me luck!

Looks like Richard got you the fuse info.

So are these Primus LPG boilers? Wanderlodge used these in their WB models. Lots of guys have tinkered with the system, some gave up and replaced with diesel fired boilers instead. My buddy Jeff did tons with trying to get his working, he never could get it working consistent. Last rally in October he bought a surplus diesel boiler to replace the Primus with.

Yes, these are the propane fired units.
Considering completely deleting as it looks like a lot of potential places for failure and a huge coolant leak, keeping the 8V92 cool seems to be critical from what I am reading..  At this point we will rarely be going anywhere cold, and RV will be stored in climate controlled shop.  Or at least unhook from the engine side as I do not need to preheat it..
