1998 45'8" 2 slide with 197 gallons diesel, 50 gals water, 50 gals tank waste, full timing load, just me in drivers seat:
Steer axle: 16900
Drive axle: 22460
Tag axle: 9400
total: 48760

VIN tag: steer: 16540
drive: 23000

Removing 600# of batteries made a big difference, but I'm still close to max.

Forest, do you have the 365s on the front? It not, they will give you more margin.

Some where around 1997 they had replaced the 24.5" tires on the steer axle to 22.5" to increase the front axle gvw as slides were starting to be added. In 2000 they changed the tag axle and went to 22.5" tires from the 24.5" tires on both the tag & drive axles to increase gvw to accommodate multiple slide coaches that were becoming the norm.

Keith, do your 76 and 77 have the same Weight Ratings as the 1979, ie steer 12,000, drive 18,500 for a total of 30,500 pound GVWR?
