If NO Newell... What's your favorite Tool?
#31

One thing I've aways been curious about. Can you see Newell's parked together and go down the line knowing the year of each one. I know some things give an idea like the new front cap and lights of 2000 vs the 1999 etc. But would you know a 2004 from a 2005 or a 2007 from a 2008? In other words the exact year and not a guess?

And what about other makes? Can you be driving along and say "thats a 2003 American Eagle and thats a 2006 Newmar Essex and thats a 2011 Foretravel IH?

I know you can speak it, but do you really know it? Tongue

It is easy to get in the correct 10 year period of a Newell. To get much more precise, you have to be very aware and typically see if from multiple angles. Even then you can be off a year or two.

As to other RV brands, no. I have enough things to learn just trying to keep up with Newell. Most RVs are not like cars in the 1960's where every year model has a distinctive look to it (or was I just paying more attention then?).

You're right Michael, the 1960's and maybe into the early 70's the models were very distinctive. Now they all look much the same!
