Chester, I always put my slides out in travel mode, and then leave the coach in travel mode if the sight is fairly level. As I said I never used the level mode even after I let my slides out because it lowers the coach so much the my steps are almost touching the ground.  After I have my slides out and if the coach should happen to need more leveling I do it manually by raising the low side.  Then when I am ready to leave the sight I crank the engine and let the coach come back into the travel position and then bring the slides in.  Most of the time when I am traveling and only going to be at a park for just that one night I don't even open my slides.

Chappell, I agree and I like your idea of manually leveling after the slides are out. I misunderstood your original post.
