Looks a lot like Baring Creek at Syeh Pass Trailhead. Not that we go to Glacier a lot or anything.

Photography is just a hobby, but we do enjoy it.

Update: left Polson for Great Falls.  Stayed at Dicks (under new ownership, now Great Falls RV).  Easy access, but like Great Falls seems to have fallen on hard times.  Lots of permanent residents.  All for the interesting folks you meet along the way but a bit rough in spots.  Wife had a knife pulled (flashed) on her in downtown Great Falls 3:30 in the afternoon on Saturday.

We are now in Alpine WY at the new Alpine Valley RV.  So far very impressed, excellent staff, park is clean and beautiful and the area is stunning.  We are here for 12 days to photograph Tetons hope to fine a bunch of fun stuff to shoot.  Oh one complaint, against the rules to wash coach even the front unless with bucket and water.   Might break that rule tonight to get the bugs off.  Wink

For an amateur those pictures are truly professional. The big wooly is bad to the bone and the white sheep or goat beautiful.

After 12 nights at Alpine Valley RV in Alpine WY we made the drive up to Yellowstone.

Its been an eventful time with the coach.  Big thanks to Newell and the 24 hr hotline.   We had the left inverter pass through relay fail which causes havoc with the microwave, dishwasher, fridge and chassis charging.   We are limping along with the number one breaker off in the closet which prevents all the low voltage issues but also does not allow for full charging so the back up charger is plugged in and we are making it work.  Not using the microwave, dishwasher is not happy at all.    This all done at the direction of Newell.

This morning the Wineguard control box was stuck on "Booting" which meant there was no way to bring the dish down.   Once again a call the Newell, looks like the control box has failed.   Had to get up on the roof and remove the dish to get on our way.   Very thankful to have the tools and enough knowledge to do the work necessary.    I have to get back on the roof to reset the magnet or put the wires together to stop the "antenna up" ding that I lived with for 3.5 hours today.

15 more days to go and hoping for no more issues.  Planning on taking the coach back to Newell for these issues and a long punch list of other items and then picking up on our way to the rally in Oct.  Looking forward to getting all these things buttoned down.

Will try to post some images from Yellowstone.

Sorry to hear that coach issues have impacted your trip. But thanks for posting, it makes us owners of vintage iron feel like we are not alone in the adventure.

I don’t know how comfortable you are with electricity, but you could use wire splices, not wire nuts, and temporarily wire around the inverter. You would only have the fridge, oven, and other things on the circuits while plugged in or gennie running but it’s an option. In older coaches, Newell added a plug by the inverter to bypass the internal ATS if such a thing were to happen.
