Need some help/thoughts/etc.
We spent the week at the lake...came back to Butler yesterday, pulled into the garage, extended the two back slides and all was working well. The indicator lights on the panel went out as they should and we turned the key to OFF. I extended the two front slides. Just as the last front slide was fully extended the slide panel lights went out as if there was a power outage. They will not come back on when the keys on the control units are turned. Both rear and front slides are "dead in the water". When you turn the key to ON you can hear the bladders deflating and inflating, but the slide will not move.
There doesn't seem to be any other electrical problem that I can find. All other systems seem to be working, I can find no fuse in the front panel under the dash that is not OK.
Does anyone have any ideas?

On my way to a campsite in Matagorda Bay and noticed a cloud of white smoke when taking off from a stop.
Pulled over and found coolant coming from between head and cylinder of air compressor. No water in oil, air pressure was good and no alarms, and vspmc said water temp was about 205.
Of course, no techs or service available at steward stevenson, if anyone has had this problem, can I get away with just a new gasket, or am I better off trying to find a new compressor?
Thanks, Jim 409 771 6427
We'll be at Marathon until October 1, but at a condo.
If anyone is around or passing through give us a holler.

It's always interesting when one manufacturer does something different, clearly weighing risks vs rewards.
Newell apparently only offers combination waste/grey water tanks (sometimes with a grey water bypass switch). I would think that offers more flexibility (don't have to worry black vs grey capacities), but apparently it's a requirement of RVIA.
I would think an in-tank rinsing system would be a must (ie Santicon or similar), but I don't think I've ever seen a coach listed with it.
Which then makes me wonder about the grey water bypass ~ creating a bigger issue by not being able to flush out the hose?
And a related issue, do Newell's offer maserators on the tank dump connections?
Do any of you have issues or experience either way with a combined tank? Thoughts?

this morning i used my shop air to bring the coach to travel height. the front end went all the way up and stayed there AND the ride height valve was releasing air as it should have been.
i pulled out of the garage and to the front of the house.
from a previous experience i knew most likely what it was.
the front six pack air valve for RAISE for the front airbags had ruptured a seal. it was an old valve. that was allowing air to pass through to the airbags when it should have been holding pressure. thus....the airbags were getting air when they should not have and the ride height valve was trying to release the air, but not as fast as the air was going in.
so, since i have valve rebuild kits (ha) i took an older valve i had and rebuilt it, took the one off the six pack and replaced it with the one i rebuilt and all was well.

Here is the manual for the Series D ABS in my coach. The code says I have 6 modulator valves and 6 wheel sensors.

Occasionally I find the screws that hold the moldings on the side of my Newell loosen up. I was looking at a newer (1999?) Newell recently and I believe it only had screws at the ends of the moldings. I'm assuming Newell used an adhesive to hold them in place. I'm thinking of removing my moldings and adding an adhesive to them before screwing them in place. Does anybody know what Newell uses to hold the moldings on?
