Hey All,
I believe the attached manual is for the heater under the sofa. It's an Aurora Trolly heater. Though mine has a TEDDY sticker on it and has the coolant feed top and bottom (above and below the motor)... this looks correct.

My fans are slowing and speeding up and it seems to be an electrical contact fault.

Spare parts are available.

Seriously, where does Newell come up with these oddball manufacturers. There are so many options that are much more readily available! Oh wait, maybe THAT is the reason in the first place.

Is there an easy way to access under the couch/sofa to rewire my teddy heater? Aside from removing the couch completely?

I need to recrimp and tighten up the fan(s) wiring on the heater and the wiring faces the exterior wall. Not enough room to get to it with the sofa flat. Going in from the side doesn't work either.

Would be nice if the seat cushions came off.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks

I think this applies to a few years. There are several reasons you may need to remove the speaker panels located above the driver and passenger. Mine were rattling when driving so they needed some felt in the touch points. You may have to replace or repair a speaker, or if your speakers start to buzz and crackle the relays that switch between the house stereo and the dash stereo are located behind there on some coaches.

These panels are not intuitive to remove.

There are two screws underneath hidden by the curtains. Remove both.
Then remove the door that swings upward. Otherwise you won’t have enough swing to get the panel out.
Then pull outward about 3/4 inch on the bottom of the panel. Then push/pull/tap the panel downward. Yeah, I know, the instinct is to push up.

Here is the backside of the panel, and the mounting cleat. So you can see why you have to pull down.

And a pic of the relays and speaker crossovers behind the panel. I do not know what the relay on the far right does. It switches 120VAC. And mine hums, so a new relay is on the way.

Preface: I can hear the 120v pump running when I click the switch and there is definitely water in the tank the valves are correctly positioned in the bay to give me water to the interior, and the correct sporlan(?) valves are open on the water manifold.

Issue 1: By ‘Under Pressure’ I meant that I am not getting much pressure out of my shower and kitchen sink using the 120v (headhunter?) water pump - the stinking 12v has never worked except for about 5 minutes after I replaced it and then I got sidetracked on more important issues (and work).

Issue 2: When I turn on the 120v switch (using the inverter or plugged in to shore power/generator) the water ‘sometimes’ works, sometimes doesn’t.

Issue 3: If I turn on the kitchen sink it will start to run (most of the time), then I can go into the bath and turn on the sink and it will start running fine with decent pressure (sometimes it will start without the kitchen sink going).  The Kitchen sink always has low pressure - not sure if there is a pressure valve somewhere that I’m not seeing.  Toilet: if I turn on the pump switch (near the microwave) the toilet usually (rarely) will flush with water.  It has been doing this for a while but it’s annoying on this trip not to have water or have to chase it down to get the toilet to flush!

Wow, I didn’t realize I had so many issues! Lol

The subzero 700 would put up an error code every week or so. When it was fully loaded it occurred more often.
I pulled the kick panel off an found the consider 80% covered in a light lint.
just cleaned it off and will see if that ends the codes.

Forum: Air Operated Systems and Leaks
- Replies (16)

The cold air in Florida this month has created serious air leaks for our 2009 Newell. I'm a novice here, and can't take the coach anywhere for the next six weeks or more as we are living in it as the renovation continues on the house. I'm looking up u-tube videos to start learning...
The 110 compressor was down to running every 15 minutes for 5 minutes, then the 110 compressor solenoid started purging continuously again. I have a leak at the inbound Valid slide manifold in the electronics bay. I've shut off the 110 compressors, took the door to 'manual' and using the engine air when we need air pressure for the toilet.
1. Trying to find the R1 tank so I can drain it - is it actually in the bay, because I sure can't find it.
2. Where can I locally source parts, or should I go to the internet.
3. What tools do I need?

I've included pictures of the Valid slide manifold

I have 2010 Coach 1401 and can’t find a air release for the bedroom and Mst Bath air pocket doors. Does anyone know if the older coaches have a release?
Thanks!

I am happy to share that I am the new owner of #410.  It needs TLC and updating so that is my focus right now. I have purchased the battleborn lithium batteries to replace my house batteries. Already replaced the engine batteries too. My question for help is I was told by battleborn guy that I would need to "reprogram" my inverter for these batteries.  The sales guy forgot to email me the info on how to do and a wiring diagram. I've been on their website and am not able to locate the info. I've emailed twice and called all week and cannot reach anyone. I have 2- 3000w Magnum inverters.  Anyone have any info you can share with me so that I can make the switch this weekend? Apologize in advance if this the wrong place for the thread and any info left out. Just trying to find the information so I don't damage my inverters and such.

Thank you

We just purchased coach #764 a 2006 45' front entry. My wife and I love our Newell despite every system needing attention. being our first coach I don't have a lot to compare it too, but cant imagine driving anything but this lead sled. We look forward to many years of being part of the Newell family and participating in gurus forum. Thank you all for being here.

Was thinking about buying this and towing it behind the coach to use as a toad.  This way I can haul ALL my stuff and if I have an issue with my coach I just have to unload all the stuff, hire a tow truck and tow the coach where it needs to go.
