Gulf shores and Bella Terra took a direct hit from Hurricane Sally. For those who have attended the No Rally Rallys at Bella Terra, here are a few pictures. Lots of property damage, but no one injured.

Hello to all, a few days ago I purchased the one under the subject title that was recently listed in Anaheim on CL last week... yep that's me that struck luck.
At any rate, hello and kind greetings to all forum members herein. Admittedly this beast is a wee bit intimidating at first and I feel that I'll be chiming in often for guidance as this is our first motorhome.
Also, I seem to be struck with a similar dilemma as other forum members of legacy Newell models, where that I feel blind without the coach manuals for me to know my way around this 45 footer; so any help in acquiring the actual User/Owners's Manual(s) and/or where to acquire them, as they apply, would be immense help.
According to the scant paperwork that I was left with, I have an official Newell Coach Corp letterhead on a sheet of paper declaring that this is model # 440.
I did however download the one on here dated 1992 but obviously it is somewhat different from my model as it was specifically built for Honda Racing by Newell, as far as I know from its history.
Anyhow, please feel free to comment and/or provide guidance as you may see fit as I am somewhat "wet behind the ears" when it comes to diesel motorhomes such as this one, so thank you in advance for any helpful info.
Stay safe,
-Michael
Hi, all. Newbie to Newell’s here.
A little background, we are fairly experienced RVers. We’ve owned a travel trailer, two fifth wheels, and a Bluebird Wanderlodge.
Looking to eventually get back to a MH but I got tired of not having any factory support from Bluebird. I do most things myself, but farm out what I can’t handle.
Coming from the ‘Bird, my initial interest is in a non slide unit, preferably with a Series 60. Look forward to learning and eventually contributing.

Tip For The Day... Now I Know...
The boss called to tell me the retractable entry steps would not extend fully. When I got home and started investigating, everything was moving freely but it seemed like the 12v motor could no longer fully extend or retract the steps.
And now “The Rest of the Story”...
Earlier in the day I had been working on the chassis/engine battery cables and used the battery disconnect to isolate the batteries. When I finished my work I didn’t reconnect the batteries (ground cables) to the coach with the disconnect switch.
The retractable entry step motor was getting the battery + power but didn’t have a solid - ground. It was pulling a ground from some other part of the coach but wasn’t enough to operate the step motor properly. Turn on battery disconnect... all is well.
Simple solution but this is one of those things that can cause lots of headaches on the path to a solution...
Take care!
JK
I bought this early example of a Newell Coach because why wouldn't I? You just don't see lines and curves like this anymore.
It is a project and there are some pics in my gallery for those who are intrigued as I was... The old 330 Industrial is running like a Swiss watch. Upgrade to diesel maybe? I really don't want a resto mod however. My guts are telling me to leave it alone and pretty up the exterior to factory glory and enjoy it as is...thoughts?
This probably sounds stupid but if I am going over a railroad crossing or a dip from the roadway to a driveway can the bus (1985) be driven while the leveling is all the way up? Say at a speed of under 3 mph.

This seems a rather aggressive price for a 2010 Newell. I appreciate that 188k miles may deter certain buyers but that does not seem to justify the price alone. Does anyone have information on this coach? Anyone have dealings - positive or negative - with The Motorcoach Store?

I lost an airbag at the very beginning of our planned 12 day trip yesterday. 2004 Coach #689. I am located in Knoxville, TN. Does anyone have an extra one or know where I can find one today? I am willing to drive to get it if so. Part number is Goodyear 1R11066 or Firestone has a comparable one best I understand. Thanks!
I just noticed that I know have water coming from the bottom of toilet and I dont know why?? I turned off the water, took off the lid and I see water spray all over inside. I remember seeing a post by Richard that said these parts are really brittle so Im pretty nervous about what to do first. Any suggestions on how to get this thing out with out breaking it? Ive been really thinking about getting a macerator toilet anyway, maybe this is the time??
Thanks in advance for any help
