WOW!!!!!!!!!! We overwhelmed the resort staff with 16 Newells coming in today. Many old Newell friends and now many new Newell friends. We are letting everyone get settled in. Tomorrow at 5pm we are having a Happy Hour get together at site #349. I have set up a for sale table for anything anyone desires to sell. I have also set up a free table of used, but good parts that will serve someone a good spare. Our first seminar will be a question, answer get together addressing any subject. We will meet in the clubhouse at 9 am on Friday morning.
Thanks to Bob's generosity, I was able to purchase his heart and soul (meaning he has put much time and effort into getting her to where she is today). I live in the small town of Galion, Ohio with my lovely wife Missy, Sister and Mother. Originally from Minnesota, I joined the Navy in 1987 and retired from service in 2008. Eventually, we will be early retiring and traveling across the country in our 1972.

Last week we brought our new coach #744 home from The factory in Miami. Newell kindly took our two coaches in on trade for 744 and had been working a few items but now it’s time to put it to work. I appreciate Richard and Tom for answering questions we’ve had as we worked through the purchase process of 639 and 744.
Kristi and I are very excited to hit the road. Our first big trip will be in September/October so I have some time to get it set up.
I’ve got my “Top Ten” list started and will post updates as I make process.
I’ll post more pics when we bring it home from storage this weekend and get it ready to go. JK
My coach is pre air door & has a hinge. The door had started to creak, squeak & groan. I sprayed some silicone spray down from the top and then sprayed every other hinge opening. Cleaned up the painted area around the hinge with Wash, Wax All and now the door opens with no noise.
Hello to all. When I parked my coach last week (Wednesday 4/24) air compressor for the house systems was working fine.
I came by today and the compressor is not working. I have tried in both the 120v and 12v but it won't work in either one. So obviously without air available systems like the toilet, doors, driver seat won't function.
I checked the breaker panel and fuse panel in the back (bathroom) and didn't find one labeled for the compressor.
anyone ever run into this and have any insight on where to begin trouble shooting?
Anybody have trouble with there refrigerator lock? The switch turns the light on the the dash off and on but does not energize the lock. Is there a fuse on this circuit?

I left my dump valve open for a day or two and I just realized that my dump valve solenoid is leaking air.
I just happen to have ordered a spare solenoid and have it...but it is a lot different than the old one.

My question is what do I do with the wires? I assume the center air port is the supply and the other two go to the dump valve. Is the thing on top for an air muffler? Will the old ones just screw on or do I need to order a muffler?
Has anyone tackled the replacement and have experiences to share?
Also, I tried to manually push down the plunger of the valve but could not budge it. If I pull the air lines, will I be able to move it. (I need to close it so that I can make my way to the rally).

I pulled in late and parked 3-4 spots down from a 500 to 600 series Newell. It may be one of you. I'll go introduce myself in the morning.

howdy all,
the pocket door going into the bedroom has just started being flakey. it closes ok, but takes quite a few times to get it to open. you push the rocker switch to open and it makes the air swoosh, but door doesnt open. eventually it will open. it is not stuck physically.
i think i can access the ram through a cover in the closet that is there in the hallway. i assume the valve and solenoid is there as well?
any wisdom on what to look for? there is enough air in the system.
other pocket air door works fine.

Has anyone tried these washable air filters by Fleet Air https://fleet-airfilters.com/pages/instructions . I am always looking to improve fuel mileage, and if I wait to replace my air filters when they have slowly gotten restricted, somewhere along the line a new one would be better than waiting till it hits the "red line" on the restriction gauge. But, at $180 to $200 for a new paper air filter, it doesn't make sense to replace them 2x's as often, or does it?
I'm just now replacing my filter and I should be getting new MPG results. But I'm not apples to apples in terrain so, i'm not sure I will have scientific MPG results.
But I would wash my "Washable" often and always be near optimum, I think.
I'll call for pricing tomorrow.
