The only thing more difficult than buying a Newell... is parting with one.  This one is special. We are the third owners and have had the pleasure of traveling over 30,000 trouble free miles in her. Originally built for the owners of Blakes Lot-a-Burger here in New Mexico, this lovely coach was, and is, a head turner wherever she goes.

We are only passing her along as we are moving up to a newer model! 

Recent tires, shocks, batteries, Aqua Hot just serviced, new projector system in the Master w surround sound. Both 1 1/2 ton basement AC working fine. We added a a new Domestic AC in the master just in case. Both engines just serviced, fluid, filters. Always in climate controlled garage.

Lowering the price from $65,000 to $55,000. This is a wonderful coach at a bargain price.

This is our 1st Newell.  We are going to be on the road for several months.  What are your must haves for keeping the exterior clean?  Pressure Washer & product suggestions welcomed!

Coach 1482, a 2020p model was wired to tow a stacker trailer with air brakes, I tow a pickup truck.  On days which required quite a bit of time using the coach service brakes the truck battery would be somewhat depleted.  I recently called Newell to ask where I should get the power from.  It was suggested to get power from the +12VDC bus bar inside the rear Spyder Load Center in the engine compartment.  I think the connectors inside the load center are AMP Universal Mate-N-Lok II, I have some spare parts of those connectors which were also used on my last coach.

Inside the Load Center, connector "B" is the wiring that goes directly to the trailer plug.  I extracted Connector B pin 5 which is a Black wire that goes to the trailer plug +12 VDC pin.  I attached an inline fuse holder to the Bus Bar inside the Load Center, attached it to a red Mate-N-Lok connector.  I plugged the extracted pin 5 into the other side of the Mate-N-Lok red connector (see photo) & voila!, I now have charging power to my toad battery.  I put a diode on the truck battery to prevent back feeding the coach.

I have a leak at the elbow going into this box. Can anyone help me with what it is and / or what size it probably is to order a new one. 

It’s just in front of rear axel on the drivers side.

We had left our beloved bus in a covered storage facility in Gilbert AZ last October when we moved to Ozark MO. Between then and now, my coach reported several power losses which the facility took anywhere from 2 to 5 days to correct. (Power was either unplugged by the other dog grooming business tenant sharing the pole or facility power issues)  This last power outage was the one that made us decide it was time to move it. We found an enclosed storage facility not far from the house with 20 amp power. I only need to maintain the lithium batteries. I will be flying back on the 20th and driving back to our new home. This will be the first time those big wheels have been moving in over 6 months. If ya see me on the road (I-10 East through AZ, NM, TX and OK)  wave! With so much going on with the new place, the timing couldn't be worse but we've had it dealing with the power issues. We have 17k in batteries and solar system to not consider doing this right away.

I haven't been on this site for a while since we sold our house in AZ and moved to Ozark Mo. It was time for a change and we wanted bigger spaces. The costs in AZ kept going up and up and at the pace they were headed, we would not be able to retire. I have been renovating the Ozark house for the last 6 months. The coach is kept in a covered and powered storage facility in AZ. Our property has a smaller 24x30 shop that is surrounded by a septic tank and drain fields so I can't expand on it. My only choice would be to remove that building and have a larger one built further back. We would tie into the road which would allow a straight in access. (Road pic shows our property at the end of the "T")  So far we absolutely love it here. The change of weather is very welcome. Winter has been fairly mild with a couple of weeks below the 30º mark. Something to be said about clean air and green surroundings. I spend some of my time getting Tractor therapy. Our birds are spoiled and will have a large reinforced aviary/loft built. I started it but the interior of the house has taken over importance. Our birds currently live in the third bay of the garage with rotational access to the inside for cuddle time. (Yes, they love to cuddle and receive scratchys!)

A special word of thanks to all the moms out there in Newell land. Men, and boys, aren't very good at expressing our appreciation for all the effort, tears, and love you put into raising your children. Having grandchildren gives us another opportunity to see just how demanding, and fulfilling it is to be a mother. 

Thanks to my mother, grandmothers, mother-in-law, grandmothers-in-law, all of whom are long deceased and greatly missed, and to my wife, for all the love, patience, caring, and faith that they put into raising their children and grandchildren.

I have the air operated microphor I think the model is 210.  There seems to be a clog in the drain pipe from too much paper. It’s down discharge. Plunger doesn’t seem to do anything but push water places it shouldn’t be..  any ideas??

I have the water off on the manifold, I’m going to let the air tank bleed off and open the flapper and hopefully the bowl will drain after a couple hours. Maybe I can see an obstruction in there

I have been using the, Richard Special "Heat with a hair dryer/heat gun, stretch standard size over the Dupree connector" hint for a few years and now it's time to re-do my hose.

The standard hoses are 3" and it appears that the Dupree hose is 3 1/2" is that correct?? I did recently receive the (alleged) Dupree hose to standard 3" bayonet fitting, but haven't had a chance to test that.

Is the Dupree hose 3 1/2" or something else?
