my battery disconnect switch for the 6 house batteries does not work. it is always on no matter what the switch position is.
it is a cole hersee standard disconnect switch though it has no part numbers on it.
in that style cole hersee makes 2 spst switches. one is 175a continuous and 1000a peak, and a 300a continous with 2000a peak
the 300a one does not look like mine. i happen to have a spare new cole hersee 175a one that i had for the hot rod that i am not using. it looks identical to the one that is in there now.the 300a one would need some modifications to the mount, but not too much work.
i called newell, but they didnt know amperage and part numbers.
if i do some simple calcs of how much current could be drawn it would be from maxing out the inverter. 3000w inverter would draw about 300a continous if maxed out. only way to max it out s with the headhunter water pump running, the fridge icemaker dumpint ice, all the tv's and subwoofers on and running the microwave. unlikely scenario.
i dont think they use the same switches anymore from what they were describing.
have any of you changed the switch out and if so, with what
tom

Not mine, but I saw it on craigslist:
https://saginaw.craigslist.org/rvs/d/new...41585.html
it appears to be pretty darn original, what a fun one to bring back to life!
We saw this unfortunate sight today in front of the Wisconsin State Fair RV Park off I-94 a few miles west of Milwaukee. The coach was taken away by tow truck, and the beautiful matching stacker was left behind.
This post may be too late, but we are staying right here in the State Fair Park and willing to help in anyway we can. If anyone knows who this might be please encourage them to find us - we would love to help out. We have met some very knowledgeable local coach owners who would also be willing and able to help or make service suggestions.
I kinda like it

The compressor will not come on with the dash rocker switch. I can make it run by pushing on the pressure switch. BUT it shuts down quickly.
MY best guess is the rocker switch? IDEAS?
George
I found I am missing a single white trim around one of the 12V puck lights. After some back and forth searching, I found the exact trim. Of course, only as the whole light, not as a separate item. Can't have everything I guess.
The puck light is made by Hafele and the white trim with concentric grooves is Hafele part number 823.29.735.
I haven't found the gold part number with the same concentric rings, but fortunately I'm not missing any of those at this time. Based on Hafele's website, it seems like they might not do the gold anymore. Based on how their part numbers seem to map out, I suspect it was 823.29.835 but I can't find any reference to them.
Hello everyone I'm looking for a front left fender flair for a 1990 coach number 226
Surely there are a couple retired coaches that have a good one as mine came off on the way home from purchasing her and Newell wants a fortune to make me a new one
Thanks Chase
