I have a 95 non slide and just got it weighed today. Steer 15260 lbs, drive 20500 lbs, tag 8740.
My axle limits are 14000 steer, 23000 drive, and 10000 tag.  I have a normal 265 gal tank fwd the rear wheels, and 175 gal. water tank fwd of that. Running about 200 gals in rear tank and full water, empty sewage, and normal gear for traveling. I believe my problem is the front [behind the front wheels] 85 gal generator tank, which has about 70 gals in it. My aqua-hot is in the compartment behind it.
I know I could run the generator tank empty, and drop about 500 lbs, but it appears my gen and aqua-hot suction and return lines only go into fwd tank.  My tag is not adjustable, but even if I lower the pressure on those bags, do not think it will make enough difference and may overload the drive axle. Just bought new 24.5 11r h range for the front. [7100 lbs a 120 psi] so axle, and tires, are overloaded.
Any suggestions?

my bedroom slide pins wouldnt engage when slide was in.  mine has magnets on the top of the slide near the pin hole and one had come off.  cleaned it up and super glued it back on.  works fine.  i had never used the slides without the engine running, but they went in and out just fine.  

it was the first real work i had done in the new shop.  

having the genie lift made it easy

and of course i had to play a little pinball too

Dear Gurus, When staying at the races, we are getting way too many smells of the generator in the coach. Ours has the 17KW Yanmar in the front bay with the sliding exhaust tube feeding the mufflers and vertical exhaust pipe that is about mid-coach on the driver's side. When we use the coach exhaust fan, that seems to make the smells worse. I can't say fumes because neither CO detector alarms and both are new.

Has anyone changed the generator exhaust seal that allows the generator to slide in and out? Also, how important is that wall covering at the rear of the generator compartment?

I have been looking at used Newell's for sometime. In January on my 2009 Foretravel, I discovered a roof leak, cracked around an awning mount, but not before I had alot of water in the coach. It is going to be an expensive fix. Thinking about fixing it and selling it. So the question is how solid are the roofs, end caps and side walls of the Newells? Has any one had to fix leaks? If so, where were they located? Any information is appreciated.

Took the chassis out for a test with some weight on it. Next step add the lift and start the enclosing the top..

Never thought I would need this page! I have the coach in a shop to get the brakes checked and it needs one set of front brake shoes and a brake drum which they say are very hard to find in alberta, they can source a drum from Ontario , but they say if it is not correct I have to pay for shipping anyway? I think maybe I should have them put this thing back together and take it somewhere else ? It's a 1987 , thanks Don
