Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the storm that slammed into the Cherrystone Family Camping & RV Resort in rural Northampton County in Cheriton, Virginia on July 24, 2014.

Reports from the Virginia State Police indicate that 2 people were killed and at least 25 injured, 3 critically. A tornado warning was in effect at the time.

I finally finished my step well today. I tiled the stringers and risers, the treads are plywood with an oak nosing keyed together then the same flooring inserts on top. The black is just rubber runner.
I had new stainless bent for the top edge. The top tread is removable to access the wine cellar underneath.

I have a big time leak on my curb side dump valve solenoid. I found this leak several months ago and put an in line cut off because I didn't use it that much. But in Oct. I am going to a park where it would be convenient to have. It is leaking at the bottom brass air release valve. I did a search and did not find that anyone had replaced this solenoid. Are there any place to buy this other than Dupree or Newell. I talked to Chuck this morning at Newell and it is over $100.00.

hi all,

i know it has been hard for each of us to find suspension part numbers and there are no guarantees that what one 1999 coach has the next one will as well, but it seems like if we were to keep a running list of what suspensions we have and what the respective part numbers are for the components of it, it could save all of us a ton of time at some point.

for instance.....

what is the maker and model number or series of the rear axle of bill's 90, and what are the airbag part numbers and maker. and what are the brakes if possible.

even more so for front suspensions for the tie rod ends etc.

there is a fair amount here already, and i know you gurus have a lot more of it in paperwork or research somewhere.

any ideas or volunteers to start compiling it?

tom

Someone mentioned that to replace tires and batteries on a Newell costs $10,000.00. Thats for 8 tires and about as many batteries right?

Then there's oil and filter changes and I think I read thats every 25,000 miles and costs around $700.00.

What are other standard maintenance items and costs associated with them? I know there are those who say "if you have to ask what it costs you can't afford it". I say "Planning is everything"... If you don't know what you need to know, just say no to not knowing you know! Wow I wish I'd of said that...
