So, is there more differences between how tires get treated and how long they last than differences between brands and how long they last?

I get to replace the drive and tag axle tires. Is what brand not as important as proper air pressure, rotating etc? Not so interested in 'the best' brand as much as are there some brands you just needs to avoid?

Also, anyone running a lug pattern on drives? Just don't see a reason to, plus it would you more positions to rotate to.

thanks

marc

OK Here is my problem: I've been sitting in Las Vegas since the last of Oct. with out a need to run my A/C, so the wind comes up today with a lot of dust, so we decided to close the rig up and run the A/C. Well we tried, but neither one would come on, so I started checking things on what I know (which is not very much). No. 1 the breakers in the big box in the closet, all OK. 2 I checked the little 3.o amp. fuses for the thermostats, both OK. 3 Went to Problem-Remedy for no cooling, I reset the thermostats, nothing. I even started the ginny up and that didn't make it work. My thinking is maybe the thermostat went bad, but what are the odds of both going at once. Any bright ideas on what my next thing to check might be?
Thanks for your help.
This is on unit 516, 1999. The A/C's are the SCS type

I had a little bit of a hunt to find the correct shock numbers for a 99 era coach with Ridewell rear and Dana IFS on the front.

Here they are:

Front Koni 90-1710SP3
Rear Koni 90-1868
Tag Gabriel 85000 Normal or 89436 Adjustable

Hello,
Was wonder if anyone has same filter in older Newell
In our 2001 Newell we have 2 stage #1 & 2 filters THM 1 & 2
We also have clear plastic canister filter next to the city water plumbing.
I need to change that filter cartridge and wanted to find out where you can find them?

Thanks ,

Came across a 1988 Newell on Craigslist today. Talked with Randy for about 20 minutes. Coach has been kept indoors for over 15 years.....a two owner coach. Tires are two years old, and has all new 8D batteries. 127,000....in frame rebuild of the DD 8V92 40,000 miles ago.

It is located down near San Diego in the Pauma Valley area.....not far from us.

Michael, Found what might be the last 2005 at Motor Homes of Texas. Also a photo of what happens when one hits a deer. The tan Newell is one they just got back in that was repainted by Foretrave. It is a 2004. They had this 2004 awhile back and had a pink swirl on it and kept it from selling. It is a beautiful tan now, a great paint job.

Michael, my mistake. I was 10 off. Look it up and you have 752 or 753 as the last.

We will be staying at American RV Park in Anthony,TX (El Paso west side) during the week next couple of weeks and home in Deming, NM on weekends. If anyone is passing through on I-10 drop us a note & maybe we can grab a bite to eat or visit over beverages.
