Hey everybody, we have dropped the price on this 2000 model double slide, it's now $175,000. It's a beautiful and clean coach that will make somebody very happy.
email me at [email protected] or reply to this thread with any questions as we'd love to see this coach go to a good home soon. Thanks!

Worst case: I may need to replace or repair the tag axle spindle on the driver side of my 1997 coach #438. Any suggestions or experience. Due to bearing failure.

if any of you want to test your air conditioners, it was 115 in mesa today and hit 112 here in wittmann.
summer has finally arrived. come on down

I just got off the phone with Bill & his mechanic. They are in need of any one who has an understanding of the leveling & travel systems on a '90 Newell. It is pre HWH. It appears that the leveling & travel systems are fighting amongst each other. Both systems seem to be activated at the same time. As the travel solenoid tries to add air, the dump valve is exhausting air. The front & rear are working the opposite--On the front the LF goes too high & on the rear the RR goes too high. Any of you classic owners that can help?

I believe this coach belongs to one of the Gurus and is in great shape. One of my favorite floor-plans..
http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-Newell-47-Qua...SS:US:1123

There is a thread just below this one called “Know anything about this Newell?”
It referenced a 2002 Newell for sale at Lazydays in Tampa. The thread goes on to say “I believe this is a discussion of that coach from Nov of 2013. http://newellgurus.com/Thread-2002-for-sale
The thread discusses this coach and some folks here on the forum even put bids in on it without success. Folks here on the forum also said the coach is not worth more than $100,000.00 and its listed for $230,799.00 hence my question.
Those who said the coach is worth $100,000.00 are guys who know something about what they’re talking about. So how can a coach worth $100,000.00 still have a price of $230,799.00?
Don’t misunderstand me, I understand you get what the traffic will bare and a dealer wants to get as much as they can. But dealers also have all these units floor-planned and costs them a bundle just sitting on the lot. By all indication this unit has been there awhile.
Why do you think Lazydays still has the coach sitting there for $230,799.00? Is it maybe because all potential buyers don’t talk to you guys and its buyer beware?
Thanks guys,
Harry

Will my house batteries charge when I am driving and the generator is not on? I dont think mine are if they are supposed to and wonder if I don't have a switch turned off that needs to be on?

and a few other gurus.
The other morning I had a warm shower. Should have been piping hot but wasn't. As it usually happens we were heading in the truck to Salt Lake City that morning for a couple days. I called Rudy and he gave me a few things to check but since we were leaving I didn't have time.
Just got back and first thing checked the coolant level. It was low, could just feel it when I stuck my index finger in the tank, and the overflow tank was almost empty. Called Rudy in a panic thinking I had a busted tank. Rudy assured me that is a fairly common problem and to fill the tank with coolant or distilled water and turn it on. Tomorrow I'll replace the radiator cap and hose and clamps.
This is the kind of help that makes this forum so valuable!
Hi Guys,
I'm just curious about something. I understand that Newell builds around 28 coaches a year. Do you have any idea how many coaches some of the better Class A's make each year?
Coaches like American Eagle, Entegra Cornerstone or Newmar Essex?
Is it also true that Foretravel is the only other coach that, like Newell, builds their own chassis? Any have an idea of how many they build?
Thank you one and all,
Harry
