I have been curious to know the time my 110V compressor runs while the coach is in storage. I installed an hour meter on the compressor and it ran 11% of the time the first day in level mode. I will do this over time to get an accurate figure, I will change it to travel mode to see if there is a change, and I will time a run to determine how many times it comes on per day. This may give me an idea of the extent of air leaks.
We are coming to see the razorbacks play in Columbia on Friday and the broncos on Sunday. Does anyone know of a good campground in the kc area
Anyone know of a Roadside Service I could contact in this area? I'm on my way to Miami/Newell & everything just shut down. Thanks! Jim 214-632-1854
Hello from Herriman Utah we've had our 1981 Newell for 6 years and love it just found this site looks like you guys really know and love yours too, look forward to
Reading more of your stuff.
Diamond T trucks and old Fords big holes in the shop you pour money in.
Happy trails, Graham
I ordered a rebuilt compressor from the place in Wisconsin that was recommended on the board. Pulled the old one put the new one in.. Hardest part was reattaching the new one to the base in the compartment. I suggest anyone doing it purchase new bolts and nuts . The old ones were rather difficult to try to reinstall.

I'm looking to purchase my first coach and a member said to talk to you all about what options I'm looking at currently. Allegro Bus or Newmar what are your thoughts compared to Newell considering a higher price point. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

After using our beloved Newell "General Lucy" for 6 months, we would like to upgrade to a quad slide w/bunks or possibly a quad w/ two opposing sofas. Price range would put us in the 05-08 years.
From my understanding, Newell did not make many bunk models until 2009 and they didn't seem too excited about a retrofit of an existing coach due to numerous reasons. (That could be a separate thread in and of itself.).
If there's any out there let me know.

Hey All,
I posted a couple of years back how great my experience with Grohe was and again I need to let you all know that my kitchen faucet started to have a small leak in the handset. I called Grohe and they verify your part number needs and take your name and address and it's on the way to me. This has been the same for years. I have had Grohe fixtures from Germany for a long time and never had to pay for any needed replacement parts ever, no matter what it is and how much it costs, it's covered under lifetime warranty. I will never buy any other brand.
