Hello. I'm the new(ell) owner of coach #359, 2003 2 slide. I've been lurking on this site for a few months, so I feel like I know some of you already. I look forward to picking your brains soon!
Tom

Hi Guys,
I am looking for a Type B screw in candelabra bulb. (The small diameter thread) 12 volt, preferably LED. I have not been able to find that bulb ..Can anybody help?

I am not satisfied with using 8D starting batteries for my house needs, and I am switching to twelve 6-volt deep cycle golf cart batteries. Attached is a photo showing how my six 8Ds are connected.
The batteries are numbered 1-6 with all grounded at the negative terminal of battery 3. As to positives, arrow A shows the positive cable from battery 3 goes to the cutoff switch and apparently supplies the house needs. However, arrow B shows that an additional positive cable connected to battery 6 which seems to be connected directly to the inverter.
From a previous posting I saved an article by Smart Gauge Electronics which shows different ways to connect multiple batteries, and the worst way is to have all of the batteries connected and the exit cables connected to one battery.
I would appreciate comments regarding the correctness of my existing setup. Would it be better if I had different grounds for the two bands and not all connected together? Should positive from one bank go to the cutoff and the other to the inverter, and should all positives be connected as they are now?

While at the Newell Coach factory we had chance to see Chris Dauughtry ( American Idol finalist ) 2015 Newell Coach which he will be using for his concerts travel.
Christopher Adam "Chris" Daughtry (born December 26, 1979) is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the rock band Daughtry and as the fourth-place contestant on the fifth season of American Idol, the competition that he was eliminated from on May 10, 2006. After his elimination from Idol, he was given a record deal by RCA Records and formed a band called Daughtry. Their self-titled debut album became the fastest selling debut rock album in Nielsen Soundscan history,[2] selling more than one million copies after just five weeks of release. The album was recorded before the band was officially formed, making Chris Daughtry the only official member present on the album.

Does anyone know of a better gasket than newell for the sewer hose

Bought a 1997 Newell last month love it however we to dump waste tank hit electric dump switch in waste dump compartment heard valve open and nothing comes out. What am I missing? Also the only other time I emptied it it did not empty completely Thanks

Last year was the first full winter that I owned our coach. We store it inside a large building with other RV's. The building is well sealed but is not climate controlled. Our winters can get very cold (come on global warming) and the coach will be in storage from about the first week in November until late April. Last year when they started her she churned for a while and finally started. We have it winterized which includes checking battery water level and adding something to the diesel fuel that preserves it. Should I do anything else? I see these battery tenders advertised in camping world. I am not sure there are reachable outlets in this building but I worry it won't start in the spring and if it is bad for the batteries to sit like that.

isnt it like this everywhere?

Time to sell. Reduced to firm 50k. Great shape. Needs nothing.

Not much in this part of the country, but Air Capital is a nice, new, cement pad with grass park just off I-135 on the south side of Wichita.
A little pricy at $54/nite but easy 70' pull throughs.
