I have found a stacker trailer I m interested in. I know I am going to need to upgrade my hitch. I have a call into Newell to double check towing capacity but loaded with 2 cars I may be close to 20k lbs. anybody know if we have a weight limit.?
Hello all,
I'm just a new guy looking for a coach. I have narrowed it down to Newell, Blue Bird, and Foretravel in that order. Any help is much appreciated.

So, are the 901's safe to use or not? Currently I'm real hesitant about 'firing' them up based on some reports I'm reading on the 'net.
But I understand about opinions and the the internet.

Anyone know how to find Thomas 2688TE44/38 Air Pump cheaper than Newell
An interesting article....................

I am in the process of buying the 2 acres next to me and building a storage building with some living quarters in it for my Gardner/father in law
I could really use some advice on size, options and must have ,have nots.. I'm considering 60x100 with the 60 side facing the street and the first 20 of the 100 feet length building living quarters. I'm thinking four 12 foot wide 15 foot high doors per side to create 4 "bays" I'd like to be able to park the coach and pull thru from both sides so I don't have to back in. I also want to be able to park a stacker trailer and my boat in another bay and the third bay for toys and yard equipment.. The 4 th bay I guess we can call future growth.lol
In the Newell bay I'll have power and dump station along with water plus I'll put in an overhead washer hose that can go all the way around the coach from the ceiling. I currently have a double slide but want to have room for a quad with the slides open.
Should I make it a free standing or have poles and divide it up. I'll insulte the whole thing and install some over head heaters.. Not real concerned on the ac part.
So comments and if anyone has some pricing experience it would be appreciated.
Does the generator fuel return go to the aux tank? Want to isolate the the aux tank and run off road diesel in it if so.

Has anyone had a pocket door go part-way open and then stop? My galley door closes every time, but on open it sticks with about 8" still to go.
I have a separate air meter for the pocket doors and the air pressure is set at about 40 psi. (Any more than this and the closet door makes a large pop noise on closing and will not work until I lower the pressure).
Any thoughts?
If I remove the refrigerator, I can probably observe what is going on, but don't want to do that until I understand more about the method of operation of these doors.
Cheers,
bill
Hello everyone,
My wife and I are new owners of a 1988 Newell. Drove it home last weekend from Tx, and couldn't be more pleased. And while this is our first coach/motor home experience, we did live in a 5th wheel for quite some time years ago, however there is no comparison....
We almost bought Wonderlodge a few weeks ago - then I ran across a Newell while looking @ Wonderlodges. All I'll say is we bought a Newell.
We'll be 90%er's as we have a home in SW Mo but now working in western Oklahoma, and just didn't want a second 'house'. Sure seems like the Newell is giving us the best of both worlds plus a whole new one.
If someone wants to let me know how to find the coach # ( last 3/4 of the VIN? ) I'll pass that on.
marc
