Just bought a 1987 Newell Classic 40' tag Detroit Silver 8V92 TA DDEC Wow its a step up from our 9'6' truck camper. This coach has more options than you can shake a stick at ! I thought it was coach #187 but the owners manual says Blade 287 ?
My wife and I are hoping to Arizona/California in February to see what this weather is all about.
Just got a call from the shop that is doing an insurance safety inspection,it needs a drag link,a couple rear axle oil seals ,muffler has a hole etc. there goes the Christmas money ! Don&Linda

Hello all,
Wife and I are looking to full time in the next 2-3 years, and will do it in either a Wanderlodge or Newell, with our focus on the Wanderlodge.

Do any of you have an opinion on whether a wanderlodge or newell offers less expensive maintenance costs? Assume that we will do much of the easier maintenance.

I know that this is a tough question and depends on the condition of the specific bus, but are they any clear advantages to either coach?

We would be looking for a 89-95 year coach.

Thanks for the forum and for your thoughts!

When you store your coach do you leave the slides in or out? And do you leave the compressor on or off?

Why is it common to have only a cook top?
I recently installed a 4 burner stove and oven, there was room to save the bottom drawer after shortening it 1.5".
All that remains is to cut down and re-install the doors.
I put a few pictures in my gallery.
