do any of you have the part numbers for the 220v and 110v electric elements for our aquahot?
4500w at 220v and
1700w at 110v i believe
is there anything special about them? tom
Saw a white Newell with red & black scallops that looked like Bill Johnson's(Bikestuff) coach s/b on Interstate 540 south of Fayetteville, Arkansas about 1 pm. Had the motorcycle lift on the rear. Just got a quick look as the highway is divided and somewhat restricted in view. Bill, was that you?
Hello agin,
I will be calling Aqua Hot ASP , but I figured I will ask some memebers first!
We are staying near Ojai, CA at the campground on teh lake Casitas.
Tonight my wife was taking shower and I was outsite and noticed antifreez was pooring out from under the coach! I looked and noticed that collant was coming from the exhaust pipe area right where comes out from the AH Silver Square Box our Aqua Hot model is 920431/432
I olso noticed under burner and mixer valve right in the metal pan there is some coolant right on the bottom!
I am having hard time to see where is exatlly coolant coming from! I checked engine coolant Retur/cold inlet/hot inlet, none of them are leaking coolant!
Was wonder if anyone had same problem with thsi sytem?
Right now I can see coolant only drips ! after we turned the AH switch insite the coach.

I've been considering a stand-by generator for our home...Our Newell is stored about 200 yards from the house. I'm wondering about utilizing the Newell generator to act as a stand-by for the home. I'm curious if anybody else has engineered such a set-up.
We are going to replace the curtains in our RV as well as add a couple that are missing. Because we are missing a couple we are short curtain hangers that are sewn into the curtains to re-use. This is a pic of what they look like. Do any of you guys know if this is size C by any chance? They give no dimensions where I found what looks like a match at East Marine as you can see on the link below.

In Congress, AZ. There are 3 Newells here in the campground: a 1990 43' from Washington state, an 80's something classic (haven't seen them around), and a 2003 triple slide from California. We visited with the '90 and '03.
You must see Mt. Rushmore while in the Hills. However, this is a very interesting tour as well. Once a year they let people walk to the top and onto the extended arm as well:

For the bikers you can ride miles of trails that are absolutely beautiful. Our favorite stretch is the Dumont to Mystic Lake trail heads.

I had an interesting experience with "TireTracker" monitoring system. Last April I purchased this system with 12 sensors. I mounted the monitor up near the original tire monitor and spliced into the 12v power. My mistake. The unit is suppose to only plug into a cigarette lighter because the male adapter reduces the voltage going to the monitor. To my surprise, the company replaced the monitor at no cost even though it was my fault. I did the same thing with the Rand McNally GPS with the same results, but they repaired it under warranty. Some times you just luck out.
We want to replace our wall lights in our bathroonm as well as the two reading lights in the bedroom over the bed. All of these are wall mounted lights. Can you guys suggest some online stores that have good selections to peruse??
We had to retreat to the coach as a result of the Hurricane Sandy Snowstorm. I noticed a strong diesel odor in the coach while running the AH. I had a chance to look into it today, and I was shocked by what I found. There was a huge hole in the exhaust system just shy of where it turns up to go thru the roof. I didn't have time to work on it today but first glance looks like a piece of threaded pipe, maybe one and a half inches comes out of the AH and then regular exhaust pipe is welded to an elbow. All of this is covered with fiberglas insulation. I have no idea how much of the pipe is rusted out. That will determine how I go about repairing it. I am going to check to make sure that the vertical pipe is obstructed with a birds nest or something. I had a big hole in the pipe like there was a blow out or something.
Have any of you replaced the exhaust pipe on the AquaHot?
