Had he unit fixed in Jan. '18 at Newell and now it sounds like one of the blower motors has a bushing in a motor going bad.

Any thoughts?

I don't have a covered storage option for my coach.  It is located on the banks of a lake and under a canopy of hackberry trees.  All kinds of rules would have to be broken to remove any of the tress, so that is not going to happen.  Every fall and for a period of about 5 to 6 weeks the tiny hackberry aphids, which look like snow falling, poop all over everything under the trees as they devour the leaves..  It is not a pretty sight.   In especially bad years the coach is almost black in areas that should be white.  It does come off with lots of elbow grease or a sizable check to my detailer.

I now spend that portion of the year onboard my boat, so a RV cover is an option.  I am sure the cover would be a mess, but if I could get a few seasons out of one it would pay off I think.

This is my way of asking the gurus about any experience you have had with covering your RV.  I am also open to opinions that it is just a bad idea.  Cover manufacturers that have worked for you would be appreciated.

I have treated the tress in the spring with some success.  That is not an inexpensive option either.

Thanks - Russ

Thought I'd start this thread in case anyone has any parts or pieces they want to sell or pay forward.
I'll possibly have a Brake Buddy to sell. SOLD
Steve just mentioned he has 365 tires mounted on rims he can bring.
Anybody else?

Well yesterday I decided to clean some antennas off my roof with a tree branch. I need help identifying what antennas I need.
I know I need a new TV antenna (recommendations?) and not sure which one has pulled through the roof CB? AM/FM radio?
additionally I need the top of the wind speed sensor.

I'm a newbie here and I'm having a real hard time figuring out what's wrong with my generator.  The typical "it starts fine on the start switch, but won't stay running?  I've tried to read all the threads I've found on here for the last 2 days and I've learned a lot.
Here's my situation.  Then genset engine starts and runs on the start switch, but when I let go it stops.  I can manually hold the fuel stop solenoid forward and it keeps running and shows output on the on the 110v. meters inside the coach.  There is nothing showing up on the 220v. meters.  The cooling fan does not kick on.  I removed the solenoid to see if I could test it and it has 3 wires coming out of it, but only 2 are in the plug.  The third wire is separate and was not hooked up to anything.  It appears somebody has at some time tried to do some "backyard engineering" and has added some wiring and a relay in the wiring going to the plug.  Oh yeah, the generator is a Martin 17.5 unit with a Yanmar engine 4TN84TE.  The wires coming out of the solenoid are: 1 white, 1 black and the one not hooked to anything is red/blue.  I don't see how it could operate 2 functions with only 2 wires hooked up.  I thought it needed a "pull coil" and a "hold" coil.  I just bought this unit and have no knowledge if the generator has ever worked in this configuration.  The previous owner is deceased and his surviving spouse knew nothing about the coach.
I keep reading about the fire extinguisher (FE) circuit that can keep the hold from working, but I can't find a FE or any related wiring (I probably just don't know where to look).  On my generator monitor panel the FE charged light is lit and green.
I've owned several motor coaches but this is my first Newell and after my 400 mile trip home after the purchase I know know why I've always wanted a Newell, even though I previously owned a Prevost H3.  It did suck not having the genset running, but luckily the temp was perfect.....not too hot, not too cold so it was a great drive.
Any help appreciated.
