Need some help on getting working the engine pre-warmed on cold temperatures, the coach has been sitting for a few days in 20-30s and the lakes around us are frozen already so it is cold I was looking at the pre-heat switch but is not working as a on-off switch it only works as a toggle so not sure if by toggling starts heating the engine and also how do I know that it is working? Does this works by being connected to shoreline power? I should have tested this before but never occurred to me that the switch will be a toggle (it could be broken). I will be a few more days here so if I have to swap the switch is good to know how.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi guys,
Just in case anyone is interested, This is Jenson Buttons 2004 newell for sale in the uk, and a couple of pictures of it with my coach at the British Grand Prix earlier this year, Ironically it was first commissioned by Jimmie Johnson and my coach was the next one he bought, so the two coaches ordered by Jimmie have met again in the UK!
Happy holidays,
Rob

Hi. This not a Newell question. Wondering about weight limits for second story floors. I know about live and dead. Load charts but have a practical question
Any structural engineer or contactors that can give me some advise?
If so please pm or email me
Thanks
Tom

Upon leaving today I noticed we had low torque max about 1200lbs and turbo was extremely lagging and not building full pressure. I pulled over checkced CAC and fuel filter all seemed fine. Got back on interstate engaged cruise and problem seemed to go away. When I would be off cruise same problem.
Upon closer inspection discovered cb cord had gotten under pedal.. lol problem solved..

The pvc plastic sleeve that goes from the actuator valve through the side of the toilet to the handle has broken.. anyone else had this issue
Would like to wish one and all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We hope to have the opportunity to meet some of the Gurus in the coming year. Safe travels to all.

Hello and Merry Christmas !
On the 86 coach there is a 110 electrical sub panel with two breakers in the rear closet . Nearby are two boxes with grey covers over what I believe are contactors . The breakers are marked 13 ( refrigerator ) and 14 ( chandelier / air compt .(?) . There is currently no fridge connected , but with the breaker on one contactor buzzes and the outlet for fridge is hot . I have been keeping the two ( 13 & 14 ) breakers off ,but this morning I flipped them both on and heard a new sound coming from left front for about 45 seconds before going quiet . I think it was the air compressor , which has previously had no power going to it . I believe the contactors are for inverter operation , but I'm not sure the 800 watt Winco inverter will start or power the air compressor . I have thought the 800 inverter was for refrigerator and the 200 watt for the TVs . Neither one of the converter/ inverters work at the moment . Perhaps the 14 breaker is bad ?
I have considerable DC experience ( still learning ) , not so much AC , and I'm fuzzy on the electrics of this Newell . I'm a determined to learn how it works so I can get everything functioning as well as possible for a device of this age.
Thanks ,Chris

My wife Lori and I just picked up Coach #733.
I was a custom home builder for over 20 years until the market crashed back in 2008 when we started buying and selling RV's as sort of a hobby. The last few years we have decided to make it a second career of it in which we are now enjoying the RV lifestyle using the product we sell.
We have mostly had American Coaches including a 5 month stint full timing in one. Until now have only been able so admire the Newell's from afar. The closet thing we have had was an Anniversary Edition Fore Travel but as you all know the Newell is taking things to a whole new level.
We plan to use the Coach the first part of next year and sell it later in the year.

it is a pretty coach however.

I just bought it's big brother #733 :-) I have it in the shop right now as the Charge Cooler, header and turbo had small leaks. I joined the forums so I could see if others have found a good place to get replacements for the Charge Cooler?
This is the first Newell we have owned. My wife and I buy and sell RV's and have mainly dealt with the American Line. The Closest we have had was a Fore Travel last year. We are super excited to get this thing out on the road.
We plan to use it thru the summer and sell it later next year.
