Hello All,
Took the bus into the shop to get the airbags, shocks, valves etc replaced and when they took the wheels off the steer axle they found that the brake disks are cracked and the pads are almost gone.... got the call a few hours ago....
I have to find 2 brake rotors, set of front pads and 2 tierod ends ASAP. I have a solid axle upfront not IFS.
The brakes seems to be Knorr Bremse and Bendix is part of the group now.
Does anybody have the part numbers for these parts ?

I'll be leaving on Dec 20/21 from Florida to Elverston Pennsylvania (French Creek State Park) and I think it will be really cold or possibly snowing and never driven a motorhome on snow before, I would like to know if you can share what should I be paying attention to (I do know that I will be needing to pay attention to the engine heater before I start the engine but this is pretty much all I know)
All experiences and recommendations are welcome.
Juan

scott has added a google search bar to every page. it allows you to use google search to look for things inside of newellgurus. many of you have commented the search capability is not as robust as we would like, so this should help a great deal.
it does give some google ads as well, but hey, it was free.
thanks
tom

well, the closing issues with my main door are back. While at Newell 2 weeks ago i had them look at it but of course, worked fine. they replaced and adjusted the MAC valve..been communicating with Bode engineers but not many suggestions. This all started before the Alabama trip but after putting in an air/water filter I didn't have but a few issues.
not sure what my next step is. replacing the motor is an option but until i can isolate the problem, troubleshooting will continue..did find something out today and it is that when the door starts to close and stalls blowing air, I can push it a tad more open and it will close> sounds like a pressure seal but not sure..
it's cold as the devil here in Galveston and I'll wait till my warmer next stop..
If anyone has a suggestion or thought, short of trading it in on a 1968 winnebago.
Have a great weekend..

Hi all, we had a great afternoon with Rudy and Carolyn. Lunch at the Monument INN near the Battleship Texas and got to visit with them at their place two extremely nice people to spend time with. He didn't even have to work on my Aqua Hot

I replaced all 3 blower motors when we first got coach in 2010. Had to replace one of them the other day. Original motors are no longer available. First replacement was with VDO pm3477 motors. They are a bit larger in dia than originals & the motor mount bands need to be modified by "flattening" out arc to accomodate the new motor. When I went to get replacement, both NAPA & Carquest could not find VDO pm3477 in their warehouses. I had trouble finding then on e-bay as well. 4 Seasons 35490 motors are interchangeable with the VDO pm3477. I ordered a 4 Seasons 35490 at Autozone store & got it in Monday. It and the old VDO were both labeled Unimotor 14490 hecho en Canada.
