I've read a lot about tools to compress the gas tubes on doors.  Anyone found an easy way to remove the retaining clips?  I had similar lift tubes on a different machine and getting the clips off to change the tube was almost as much hassle as compressing the tubes.  Or am I overthinking this and should just use a crowbar?

Has anyone changed their own thermostat on an 8V92 ? mine has a 160 that I believe was installed  a long time ago when the rad was plugged up and the coach was living in AZ. With the new rad and being in Canada it's time for a 180 which I think is the proper temp? Don

Are there plans yet for a 2017 Rally? I know I owe a lot of people on this forum for help during my start up and would like a chance to meet you all. I do need to get it on my schedule so I can get off work to attend - still 2 years from retirement...

"Below is a pic of my 110v compressor. It was last replaced 7/28/15. anyone know the brand and model?

Also, where is the 12v compressor? The PO said Creslie told him not to replace it even though it does not work. However, I gather from reading here, it can flush the toilet and open doors. Sounds worthwhile to either have a spare 110v or replace the 12v.

Thoughts?
Thanks Mike

I have found a local indoor storage facility, that the owner says has 3 Prevost and 1 Newell already stored there. The problem and question I have is around power. He said they supply a 50amp plug but only supply 20amps per circuit. Obviously, that will not run a air conditioner, but I thought I might run a portable dehumidifier since I am in the panhandle of Florida. However, I am wondering it that configuration will run my refrigerator and inverter/charger? Are both of those on the same leg, or can the system auto sensor somehow? The price is $200 per month less expensive than what I am paying now, so would like to male this work.

Thoughts?
Thanks
Mike

My coach has had weak heat coming front the engine coolantpowered heater at the dash. The dash coolant temp gage has consistently read around 183 or so degrees. I've been through the whole system and everything seem to be properly hooked up and operating as designed. So what gives?

Using an IR temp gun, it seems my coach has 160 degree thermostats rather than the usual 180 degree ones. So, I've ordered the 180 ones. I have installed a new temp sensor for the dash gauge that seems to have dropped the indicated temp into the range of the IR indication.

I was originally concerned that changing thermostats would make any engine overheating issues worse, it won't because once the thermostat is wide open cooling is only limited by the effectiveness of the radiator and fans and willhave nothing to do with the thermostat temp setting. Also, all the information I found states that the engine is expected to run better at the higher temp. So hopefully I get a two-fer; more dash heat and a better running engine. That's just plain hot.
