I am wanting to remove the old Intec monitor from the dash so I can install a new one in it's place. I cannot seem to figure out how it is mounted and have no paperwork. Not wanting to disrupt something under there, wondered if perhaps one of you may have been through this and can offer some clue.
Also, Does anyone have a replacement that they recommend. Thnx Pete

We have spent the last 4 days at Everglades Isle RV park. We have thoroughly enjoyed it and the hospitality from manager Bill exceptional. Plenty to do with air boat, swamp bugs, hiking, nature drives, etc. the park is very well maintained and has plenty to do onsite, with boat docks, fishing, pool, club house and even a movie theater. Only 3 times to note:
1. If you are towing as soon as you cross the bridge into Everglades City, pull off on pavement on side of the road to disconnect. Otherwise, you will be blocking traffic while you wait for them to open the gate. Ask me how I know this...
2. Air boats run from 9am to 5pm. Our site over looked the river and we watched the boats all day long. Inside your coach you don't hear the noise, but outside, they might annoy you. I rather enjoyed watching the action.
3. They are only open Oct 1st to May 1st. Bill told us it is too hot and buggy during off season. BTW: we did NOT have a problem with bugs during our stay.
Nice place to stay while seeing the Everglades.

97 Newell #439
Just arrived Orange Beach Al
When I arrived I noticed oli leaking from pass side hub cap up on investigation I noticed excessive heat on the hub cap and wheel. The hub cap oiler got so hot it leaks and will have to be replaced. I have located new oiler seal hub cap but am having no luck finding a source for service. Th brake has to be dragging causing this heat buildup. Any suggestions on a brake drag fix (release or back off)I can do to get back home for perminant repairs. They are disc brakes.
Thanks
Greg

Have run into strange problem. Have lost both galley oversink 110v receptacles
and bedroom receptacle. Sink ones are through inverter, but bedroom is not.
No power on shore or battery/inverter power. Everything else is fine.
Strange thing is bedroom receptacle is not through inverter and shows power
at breaker. Would have thought galley ones would be gfi., but are not.
Maybe description on breaker box in wrong.
Any thoughts on my problem or has anyone seen something like this?

All,
My name is Reese Cantrell and we live in East Texas. My wife and I do not a Newell, but we are looking. I have lurked on this board for a few years, but recently talked with Chappell Jordan and Richard Entrekin and they suggested that I join. We have a friend that has an 06 43' Newell and they are very happy with their coach. My wife and I have owned a 2003 Country Coach Intrigue, 2004 Foretravel U320, and a 2012 Foretravel IH 45. Up till now the Country Coach was our favorite coach. I have talked with Brian Pitts numerous times since 2007 and looked at Newell's on other websites besides the Newell site. We have been to Miami on three occasions.
Initially interested in the 2004 - 05 models to purchase, but have moved to the 06 - 08 models. What I like about the Newell Coach is the steerable tag axle, four slides, half bath, Valid slides, flat floors, rear bath, 20KW generators, and other features. The 24 hour service number with a live person is a tremendous feature to offer to their customer base. We always broke down after the service department closed. We saw both of our Foretravels being towed in the middle of the night. I have called the Newell service department and asked them questions about the coaches we were interested in and they have always been happy to be of assistance. That is good service. I have stated on the Foretravel forum and other boards that Newell is the best engineered, manufactured, and quality customer service in the motorhome industry. When we owned the IH 45 I had people ask me opinion about the IH 45 and I told them to go buy a Newell or Prevost. I told them they would be happier and less frustrated.
Unfortunately I am not mechanically incline. When the coach has a problem I take it to mechanic for repairs. I can recognize a problem, possibility diagnosis the problem, but not repair the problem. I will probably ask more questions then provide answers on this board.
Thanks,
Reese
