Rhonda and I were out for a little tandem ride here in WV this morn, when to my surprise a Newell with campaign logos rolled through our village. https://www.rocky2016.com/2015/12/21/pho...-campaign/

I have been looking at used Newell's for sometime. In January on my 2009 Foretravel, I discovered a roof leak, cracked around an awning mount, but not before I had alot of water in the coach. It is going to be an expensive fix. Thinking about fixing it and selling it. So the question is how solid are the roofs, end caps and side walls of the Newells? Has any one had to fix leaks? If so, where were they located? Any information is appreciated.

Thank you,

Roy Dameron

Never thought I would need this page! I have the coach in a shop to get the brakes checked and it needs one set of front brake shoes and a brake drum which they say are very hard to find in alberta, they can source a drum from Ontario , but they say if it is not correct I have to pay for shipping anyway? I think maybe I should have them put this thing back together and take it somewhere else ? It's a 1987 , thanks Don

Gang,

I was almost ready to leave in the coach and I noticed that one tire was a little low.  It turned out to be the inside drive tire.  When I attempted to put air into the tire, I realized I had a problem with my extension.  It would not allow you to check air or accept new air.  So....

1)  Where does one get 7" air valve extensions (quickly).

2)  Neither of my tires have air valve extension stabilizers.  (The rubber things that go in the outside tire to stabilize the extension).  Where does one look for those?

Upon closer inspection, it turns out the extension on the other side has been rubbing and is close to failing.

Thanks,
bill

ps.  I did find this online.  (Newell has told me they do not stock the stabilizer for my wheels -- 1.5" holes)

I was watching a tiny house show and it got me thinking.
Now this may be a really dumb idea and I know I can go out and buy a portable hot tub but...
I could get a tub from a feed store or a kiddie pool, fill it with water and use the Aqua-Hot to heat it... If I plumbed it in before the AH would it heat the water enough?  I could even use the onboard compressor to make the 'bubbles'...  Then when we leave just throw out the tub/pool...
