Forum: Air Operated Systems and Leaks

I'm working on making an air system schematic for the air lines that connect to the 12V air pump.  There is a 1/4" air line that connects to the right side of the four way connector that is on the regulated side of the air pump.  From there the air line goes up & into a conduit with some wires that runs from the AquaHot compartment on the right side over to the water bay on the left side of the coach.  The 1/4" line comes out of the conduit and connects to a "T" just above my water pump.  Two white air lines connect to this "T".  The white lines and some wiring then go up into a hole in the floor.   They all come out behind the drawer below the refrigerator.  They then disappear up behind the refrigerator.  Maybe some one has dealt with these air lines and can answer my questions.

Where do they go?

What do they connect to?

Just curious how much people use their Newells.  Miles is one way, hours another.  We use nights/days used.  For 2015 looks like we will close out at 69 days/nights since April. (We don't use our coach much from Jan-March due to weather in KC area.)

I only log time on trips not time spent washing, fixing, noodling, etc.  I will admit lots of my enjoyment comes from the latter things though!

So, how many days/nights per year do you use your coach?

The indicator light for the diesel AquaHot burnt out.  It is a Solico 14V red indicator bulb.  Does any one have a source for these exact light bulbs.  They are hard to remove and there are six of them so I'd like to match them if possible.

Gang,

I have a Winegard Trav'ler SK3005 antenna that is causing me problems.  My setup has two directv receivers and both receivers are having the problems.  The issue is that some channels show an error message related to signal strength.

Here are the facts...

1.  The satellite box has an asterisk on all three birds (101, 110 and 119).  That means that the receiver can see the satellites.
2.  When I look at signal strength for the transponders on 101, I see mostly 99 or 100 percent signal strength.
3.  On some transponders the signal strength is much less...around 30-50.
4.  Have reset everything with no change.

So the question is...What can cause some transponders to have much lower signal than the others?

I have swapped my two DirecTV receivers with no change.  (Including the B-Band converter)
I have also swapped the cables between the two receivers and don't see much of a change.

Cheers,
bill

I have a few windows at the sticks and bricks where the seal failed and the window fogged. Replacing the whole window was going to be a chore since the siding would have to be removed to get the nailed in window frames out. So I looked to see if I could cut the old glass out and order new sealed panes. Voila !  And the maker of the sealed panes, Peninsula Glass in Vancouver.

I am looking for a air system diagram for my 87 Newell. I have looked on many websites but have not seen one that matches my Newell. For example, my front axle has 4 air bags, 2 per side, and each pair feed directly into their own tank. The tank in front of the axle supplies the right side air bags & the one behind the axle supplies the left side. I have never seen a diagram with that sort of configuration. I am trying to determine which solenoid controls what action-Raise, Lower & Ride height. I also have 2 other tanks near the front of the coach which I assume are related to the brakes. Any help would be appreciated.
