I am producing conversion templates to enable Newell owners having Truck-lite 0708 size tail lights (stop, turn and backup) to convert to rubber mounted Super Bright LED units (RT-x24), Truck-Lite 4550/60 series, or Grote G4502/03 type LED rear lights. I am using my 1991, #277 as my test mule.
It appears the plates will be about $7.00 each, plus shipping with 5 needed for either side. Please advise me if you have any interest.
As soon as I have a set installed, I will have pictures available to send before you decide to to order.
Thanks!
Danny

Gang,
So we all know that we are supposed to drain our air tanks, right? Well, on my coach there are two tanks that get water in them. There is one in the front basement bay on curb side. There is another one in front of drive wheels on curb side. (The rest are really hard to get to).
Anyway the front one always seemed to have water in it and the petcock was tough to open with my fingers. On top of that, if I *did* open it, the water sprayed all over the inside of the bay (holds the air compressor, and fan for genny).
What I did was carefully drain the water / air from the tank (with compressors turned off).
Next, I removed the petcock with an open end wrench.
I replaced the petcock with the following:
1 x male-male NPT 1/4" fitting
1 x NPT 1/4" ball valve
1 x NPT 1/4" to tube adapter
1 x piece of clear plastic tube
2 x clamps (one at top and one at bottom)
I used plumbers paste to seal the threads.
Finally, I drilled a hole through the bottom of the bay and stuck the tubing out....followed by a little clear silicone around the drilled hole. I also put a clamp on the tube on the bottom end to keep the tube from ever jumping around when air is going through it.
Thats it!
Now, to drain the tank, all I have to do is grab the handle and turn. Any water / air is expelled under the coach. No more mess, and super easy to do without tools.
The picture will show you in more detail.
Easy project!
ps. all the supplies are available at Home Depot.

Spotted what might have been a 2004 East bound on I--70 pulling a vehicle with what looked like an off road machine. Rain and traffic obscured vision. Sighting was about 4PM May 9, 2016

October 17-21, 2016 at the Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort. Agenda and pricing will be coming soon. Contact Becky Dwyer for more information or to pre-registe
I understand that the Newell Nashville Rally was very well attended and everyone had a great time.
Newell puts on high class rallies.

A picture from our second annual no rally rally at Bella Terra RV Resort in Foley, AL. Attendance was down 33% this year when Rudy & Carol were unable to attend.

In preparation for getting my dash converted to Glass Dash, I have taken out my existing dash, with the help of Steve (thanks, Steve) and a friend who is an auto mechanic and sent it to SilverLeaf Electronics. They will remake a dash that the Glass Dash will fit in. Originally, I was planning on having one of SL Techs fly over to my house and do the install, but my mechanic friend thinks he can do it. So, I called SL and talked to Art. He said there was no reason why we wouldn't be able to do it ourselves. I'm posting a few pictures of what the mechanical dash looks like. Hopefully, I'll post some additional pictures when I have it done and report on how it is working. Meanwhile, if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them.
Regards to All!

I was cooking in convection mode and it shut down completely. The breaker is on and the TV works so the circuit seems to be working. Nothing lights up on the face.
Is there a fusible link or fuse? How do I remove it?
Thanks,

Yes, we DO lean right politically and our coach seems to follow suit... Lol
When we either air up all the way (full UP position) or in travel mode the coach leans to the passenger side a little. How is this adjusted please? I would guess ride height valves but not sure...
We are on fairly level ground but I don't think that should matter. This is only a big deal when it rains hard and we are away and cannot lean the coach left - I would like the coach to lean toward the driver side if not level...

Been working on Cannons 07, problem with 110 air.
When we run engine to fill all supply tanks. Then shut down, the 110 compressors don't run for nearly 20 minutes.
After that, they start every 3 minutes .
No obvious leak, yes we have repaired 12-15 small leaks.
We have closed all regulators found, including slides and toilet, also the genny air bags!
It doesn't matter what we select in the leveling system, it will hold position for 12-18 hrs.
Possible check valve allowing aux. tank to bleed into main tanks?
We are at stand still.
Not finding obvious leak???
Any ideas please!

I'm just wondering if any Gurus plan to attend the FMCA rally at Amana Colonies on July 13-16?
