Seen in the Dragoon Mountains of Arizona.  Spotted by a friend today who had been introduced to Newells when ours was parked outside the house at home a couple of weeks ago.  I'd had my doubts about getting ours out that far into the back woods of Arizona.  Guess it can be done.

I have been without a functioning tachometer since 2010. The sending unit (signal generator) is located on the front of the engine between the engine block,  and the fan, and is extremely difficult to get at.....ask Richard.....he's pulled it out twice trying to fix it.  My latest attempt to fix it was last March when we were here at Tom's,  and I was once again unsuccessful in fixing it.  It was then I decided to replace the original Stuart-Warner analog tach with a digital one which gets it's signal from the Leece-Neville alternator.  I priced one with Speedhut out of Utah then but they could not promise delivery until well after we would be leaving Tom's,  so I put off the replacement.

Fast forward to February 9th of this year.  We were going to drive down to Tom's from Oregon on the 10, so I ordered the tach,  and just received it yesterday.  It was easy to install,  and calibrate,  and now I finally have a working tachometer once again!

I am wanting to upgrade my 4x6 turn signals to LED but can’t find any?  Any help would be appreciated.

The only 4x6 turn signals I could even find were halogen (Truck Lite and Dialight).

No affiliation... but I am looking to buy one NOW.

This one would need quite a few changes to the interior for me.

Hey Gang,
Need some help installing an Air Force One reservoir in my coach #763. I can tee in for the air supply, but having a little trouble with the metered air. My coach has a 3/8" DOT air line out the back for a trailer, but this goes from 0psi up to about 50psi with full brake pedal. My understanding is I need to tee in to the brake system for the metered air, as it goes down when applying pedal. I really don't want to crawl under coach. Has anybody done this, and can they give me some pointers?
Thank you,
Ross Daniels

 Winegard Company Acquires SilverLeaf Electronics

"Winegard, a  designer and manufacturer of smart wireless solutions, has announced the acquisition of RV systems developer SilverLeaf Electronics.

Based in Albany, Ore., SilverLeaf is the RV industry's go-to engineering firm for all things related to telemetrics and RV-C networking, Winegard said. This includes instrumentation tools, IoT solutions, and engine and system monitoring.

According to Winegard, the acquisition will bring some of the best minds working in RV electronics together under one roof with the goal of developing innovative and life-enhancing products for RV enthusiasts. Martin Perlot, founder of SilverLeaf and pioneer in RV-C communications protocol, will stay on as general manager of SilverLeaf and take on the role of Winegard's VP of Digital Chassis."

No idea what this will do to pricing and the free download of VMSpc, just a heads up.

bob and sandy are here at our place with their beautiful 2007.

we are going to look for air leaks.  my question is this.....

if you look at the attached picture, the shop air hook up goes through the air doubler.  mine is totally separate.

we hooked up my shop air, but had to turn on the valve to the air doubler.  the doubler makes its piston noise once in a while and i am not convinced any shop air is getting into the coach air because his 120v air compressor still comes on frequently.

those with this vintage, any advise?

i will take another look at it in the morning.

Glad to be joining the group.  God willing and the creek don’t rise, we will close on #808, 2007 P2000i, 4 slide coach.  We’ve been looking for a couple of years to find one with the “must-haves” that we wanted.  Selling our ‘13 Tiffin Allegro Bus 45LP, so if you know anyone send them our way.  So much to learn!!

Best,
Terry

Hey guys/Gals,
My coach 1242 doesn’t have power to to dash, ignition, etc... unless I flip the emergency start switch on dash.  Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? I have quickly looked in front compartment to check fuses and haven’t found any that aren’t blown.  I’ll call Newell if need be but I’d prefer to attempt to solve issue on my own since I’m not planning any trips in few weeks and know newell service is probably overwhelmed w cold weather and calls. Thanks in advance!
