Nice clear fixed glass window for sale.

Gurus,
Many of us have mid 90s to early 2000 coaches that have a matrix of 6 rectangular lights tail lights on each side. Although incandescent versions of the lights are still available…they are not very bright. LED versions of these lights were available for a long time on ebay…but that is no longer the case.
To solve the problem, another guru @"dannymarilyn" Danny fabbed up some plates that would allow the use of truck LEDs within the existing bezel. Here is his post.
I decided that I wanted to make an entirely new bezel. My design goals were to keep the “Newell” look while being a bit more modern. I wanted to make sure that folks can see my turn signals and I wanted do something so that I can see to back up at night.
I ordered samples from all the truck light vendors as well as a few from firetruck and ambulance vendors. In the end, I decided that Bargman had the best price / performance.
Since the bezel was the same size as the original but the lights were slightly smaller so it gave me an idea. What if I use the perimeter lights from the 2020 Newell coaches as a backup light? Well that is exactly what I did. The trapezoid Whelen Perimeter Light in the pictures below are used on brand new Newells. They are frightfully expensive…but also terribly cool.
Here is the final design for the bezel. (Of course you can put the yellow and red bulbs where you prefer).
So how did I get the bezels made? I created an Adobe Illustrator file and sent to a place in Reno, Nevada (SendCutSend.com) for laser cutting. They can supply a variety materials but I choose .125" aluminum. They cost about $50 per side.
Richard volunteered to be a guinea pig for the first set. He painted his to match his coach. They look great!
I elected to get mine powder coated in black to match my coach.
Both turned out really well.
Let me know, and I will send you the AI file. Feel free to modify it to suit your own preferences.
All in all this was a fun project. Not a cheap one (especially with the backup lights)…but I think it is a good investment for safety. Richard tells me that folks seem to be much more quick about getting out of his way when he changes lanes.
can anyone tell me what the dia. of the housing is?
I'm working on a project and need this for mock up.
Thanks
Hello, Newbie here obviously LOL
I have been looking to get another Coach, I first started out looking at 2005 to 2008 Prevost either Liberty or Marathon. I then happen to watch several Newell YouTube videos that got me hooked on the look. Newells are amazing coaches the more I learn about them. looking to get a Newell now and travel and just enjoy life. I would love any feed back in relation to options of Different years i.e. Detroit 60 or cummins and mid entry or front entry. I know everyone here loves their particular coach, just curious what made you pick yours. Thank you to all that respond and looking forward to getting back into the Lifestyle with a Newell now.

Hey everyone. As my better half Kimberly has said here, we are brand new to the RVing life and the brand new owner of #637. We endured a tropical storm type rain last night and our Newell and our 2 boxer dogs did great. however we did have a couple small leaks. One coming in from the top of the 2nd window back on driver side next to the booth area. There’s a awning that is practically new And fully operational However this rain was coming in horizontally. The second leak was coming from the ceiling in the cupboard next to the kitchen gallery which I think is coming from the fantastic fan.
My initial question before I go up to inspect it today is is there a preferred product for sealing the roof and is there a preferred product for ceiling around windows? My second question, again before going up to visually inspect The roof and fantastic fan is there a way to make the fantastic fan lids more waterproof in situations like this? I appreciate any input from the group.

I’ve owned pull along campers and 5th wheels, but never a coach. I do have a CDL. [amoff][/amoff][amoff][/amoff]Looking for a Newell with mid entry and a bath and a half. Looking for info on best years, best engine and tranny. Stacked washer and dryer and preferably the bigger horse power. Maybe steerable tag. Any feedback, opinions, advice and warnings are great and really appreciated. Thank you in advance. Tom
Suzy & I are at the Traverse Bay RV Resort in Michigan and there are 4 Newells that are all parked together. I was showing off the great job that Detroit had done with the chrome kit to jazz up the appearance of their engines. Alan, who has a 2015 Newell with a Cummins engine, said that he had been able to order the chrome kit on his engine when they built their coach. Several of us stated we were not aware of Cummins offering a chrome kit, so off to Alans coach to admire his engine.
As you can tell we are all having a great time!!!!!
I found a 2006 on a New Jersey RV lot specializing in trailers and 5th wheels. It's what I've been looking for, a mid-entry but wish the galley was on the street side. Would appreciate any comments about stuff that's endemic to the '06 Newell. Leaking windows, something bad about the Cat or the ZIF tranny? Mileage is about 98k.
This would be my first Newell, but third coach. My '01 Monaco Exec is a honey but The Management wants four slides and we both like the many Newells we've looked at.
Any thoughts would be welcome.
Regarding air leaks, what would be the minimum aux compressor cycle time that you would expect before worrying about major leakage?
I'd be grateful for any advice, thoughts or otherwise.
Thanks gang,
Tom Gauger
