It is like zero here and I started up coach . Coach started with block heater but no air . Is there something I can do ? Or wait for warmth maybe wrap coach up with blanket lol . It stinks we r headed south in few days ! Thanx for help

I had a ballast fail in one of the lights, time to convert to led.
Rigid led strips and a dc buck converter to keep the supply steady at 12v.
Light output in each fixture is about 300 lumens, noticeably brighter than the tubes they replaced.
About $6/ fixture in parts.

I am at a RV park in Apache Junction, Arizona, and I have an electrical issue I have not figured out.  Yesterday I washed clothes and the washer worked perfectly.  However, when I used the dryer, the dryer turns but will not heat.  I assumed I had a dryer problem.  Then last night I tried to use the range, and it would not turn on.  All other appliances, including A/C, seem to be working OK.  Not sure though that both compressors in each unit are working.

This morning I disconnected the dock cable and started the generator.  Now everything works including the dryer and range.  Breakers all seem OK.  Not sure if I have a switching problem in the coach, a problem with the outside power or something else.  I will be out on Monday so it will be Tuesday before I can ask to a new site to check for outside power.  Any suggestion on what I can do to isolate the problem?

I ordered a VMSPC from Silverleaf today...but I am torn as to what to display it on or where to mount display.

I have a new Microsoft Surface Book that runs Windows 10 and has a couple of USB ports.  It is overkill for this, but can be setup like a laptop or like a tablet.

I know some others have Surface Pro tablets.  These are cheaper and lighter and could work.

Any thoughts about the ones you have used?

I also need to figure out a place to mount the display.  I know some have just tucked a tablet in front of dash gauges.  I am worried that I cannot see the display.  (I can barely see the gauges over the steering wheel).

I already have an iPad mini mounted to the right above the dash that runs the weather radar program I wrote.  

So, does anyone have a setup that they really like?

Motorhomes of Texas just listed a 2003 with 2 slides. Photos are not available yet so I will attach a couple of photos from about 10 years ago. This coach is EXACTLY 45'0" long. Any suggestions for how to adjust the low mounted mirrors on a 2000 vintage coach? Specifically, I can't see the passenger side as well as the drivers side of the coach. My passenger side mirror is very close in, thus, I can't see to judge the passenger side tires like I can on the drivers side. The problem is that I am afraid to move the arm to try a new angle. Thus, looking for tips :-)

All that I can tell you is that the coach does exist. It has had 5 or 6 owners but hasn’t been to Newell for any kind of service for the last 8 years at least. Our service records only go back that far in our current service software.

Does anyone know what this switch might be for? It's right above the radiator on the passenger side and next to a small locking door for the coolant reservoirs?

I am not sure if this is a drive train question or air system, but here goes. I have a 1983 Classic with williams air throttle and dana cruise control. The vacuum lines for the cruise keep popping off. At least I think it should be vacuum. It looks to me like the air line coming back from the throttle goes into a junction block that has 3 outputs. One to the transmission, one to the throttle valve and one to a solenoid that looks like it should create vacuum to run the cruise control. However I am getting positive air pressure out of this solenoid and its causing the vacuum lines to pop off. Does this mean the solenoid is bad? The vacuum lines are hooked up wrong? Can I just block the supply line to this solenoid knowing that the cruise control will not work?
