I would like to change my old 12 volt incandescent lights to modern LED lights. Has anyone done this and where did you get the replacement fixtures? I do not want to just plug in a LED in my old fixture. I want to replace the light fixture completely with a very bright LED replacement.

ok,

once again, i need guru help. simple help. i am not near the coach and need some measurements so i can compute the steepest angle of driveway i can have and not bottom out on my trailer hitch.

i am making the assumption the axle to the rear on the 45'8" coach is the same distance from the end of the coach on all of them. at least in my vintage of 2002.

my coach also has the 30k lb massive trailer hitch on it with the 2 1/2" receiver. so hopefully some of you have the same setup.

so, i need the measurement when you are at ride height of the lowest part of the hitch to the ground.

then i need the distance from that lowest part of the hitch to the back tire where it contacts the ground first

that way i can calcuate the angle that is maximum that i can have as a slope.

thanks guys

tom

There is a guy that has developed a free application for the Ipad that mimics a glass dash. You will need to purchase a Canpod interface that plugs into your coach diagnostic port. It sends a WIFI signal to your Ipad with all the information. Total cost is under 900 bucks not including the ipad. Considering how much a glass dash costs installed, this is a bargain if you want to convert.

I joined the forum today and am looking forward to gaining knowledge and sharing knowledge. We purchased our Newell coach 621 about a year ago. Previously, we owned a Lance. What a difference!!! LOL!!!! I am extremely pleased with Newell quality. Currently, we are doing a full maintenance front to back getting ready for our trip from Texas to Ohio. A few things were found that were either overlooked by the previous owner or by the shop that did the maintenance for us last year. My mechanic, who works for me full time, did a great job. We now have a peace of mind as these items would have caused us headaches during our trip. I am a firm believer in regular maintenance. Thanks again for the invite!!!

hi guys,

my new shop will have its own 1000 gallon septic tank. the sewer main coming out of the shop is 3" that will go to the septic. i am putting a separate line to the tank that is for the rv pad that will be next to the shop.

a couple of questions for you.

1. are the in ground sewer connections at rv parks 3" or 4"?

2. is there any need for a separate vent for the rv dump to allow the waste to flow? i know when i stayed at steve B's he just has a regular cleanout for the sewer on his rv pad next to his house.

the connection will be only about 20' from the septic tank.

I am in Utah and having trouble with the turbo. Traveling from Frisco CO to Torrey UT I lost 250 torque and the ck eng light would come on when the turbo kick in and would go out when going down hill. The fault code is 147 unt vanes failure eg. We left Torrey 2 days latter traveling to Zion UT and no problem with torque back to 1650. Will be leaving here going to Page AZ hope the problem doesn't come back. Any ideals? Thanks
