Can you drive atv's from the park to the trails? I know you can't ride them in creede, but didn't know if there was a trail around town if you are trying to get to the trails from park to north of creede..
I understand Newell has a few openings left at the upcoming rally due to some last minute cancelations. I have been to this resort and it is by far the most spectactular resort I have ever been at. It is a RV resort in the middle of 2 5 star resorts. It has all the amenities you would expect plus 2 18 hole PGA golf courses, car museum, air strip, zip lines, mini golf, bowling, skeet and trap shooting, 4 wheel off roading, much more and a casino. Contact Becky Dwyer at Newell for more info. Below is the adjenda.

Had a heavy rain here in Newport Oregon the other night and rain water poured into the dining table window. When the sun came out the next day, I discovered a 3/4" hole punched into the aluminum roof an inch or so inside of the insert where the lock probe belongs. I can also see where the lock probe has been dragged across the insert. In a few days I will bring in the slide a few inches to see if I can determine what is going wrong. Has anyone else experienced this and what was the cause and fix?
I followed a beautiful Newell from Spirit Mountain Casino near Salem to Newport on the coast. It has a basic brown paint job and I guess it is a 2005-6. He turned into a 5 star RV resort just north of Newport. I wanted to say hello but he left before I finished filling my car's tank. I you see this post, Hi there.
Guys, I need a little help here. Coach all loaded and ready to go and tried to crank the engine and all I get is a click. The batteries all read good. I put a volt meter on the engine batteries and they read 12.7 volts. When I turn the ignition key on without trying to crank the engine and the volts on my silver leaf reads 14 volts and then drops to 12.7 and on down to 11.3 volts. So what do I need to start looking for?

Very attractive 1995 45' Newell for sale. 130,600 miles. 8 new Michelin tires with approximately 7,000 miles. Current owner had it re-powered with a Detroit Diesel Series 60.
Price is $90,000. Owner will consider a trade of a 30' bumper pull trailer or a Class C.

Hello everyone, my husband and I do not own a coach at this time, but are in the process of selling the house, storing all of our things and becoming full-timers. We have been going through this process for a while now and can't wait! We have been looking at many coaches for about a year now and the one that keeps coming up on top is the Newell. Looking at the 1990 - 1999 years. I was so excited to find Newell Gurus and have been reading as much as I can to learn as much as I can about the Newell. I have found several beautiful coaches, but none are near us so its really hard. In the mean time I will keep reading and learning. Thanks so much for this great site!

After 2 years and 5100 miles since the last oil change and the point at which I switched to Rotella T6 full synthetic oil I have sent an oil sample in to Blackstone for analysis. Forest had previously used them so the results ought to be comparable. The numbers for the wear metals were all similar, with my iron results being in the middle of his three sample's numbers. From the records it appears he changed oil annually.
The TBN (Total Base Number), the ability to neutralize acids dropped from 10.6 to 7.9 so there is plenty of reserve left. The viscosity is in the normal range according to Blackstone with minimal if any change.
The iron results are just over a third of amount that Detroit/MTU states as the limiting value for iron in the oil.
My oil consumption has been undetectable. Shortly after the switch to T6 I added 2 quarts but nothing since and the level appears constant.
On the basis of these results I'm planning on keeping the oil for one more year before changing. At this rate the T6 will be cheaper per mile than annually changing the straight 40 weight designated for 2-stroke Detroits and more readily available on the road (though with my consumption that appears irrelevant). One could run the same test as I did, including the TBN, and find that annually changing the straight grade is overkill. The results Forest shared with me hint that that is quite possible, but he didn't get the TBN test.
I hope this helps as we move forward with these quirky 2-strokes.
