This morning after leaving the RV park in Eugene and having the coach sit for about an hour while I searched for air springs, the inverter indicated the house batteries were at shutdown which is 10 volts.  I tried to start the generator, but not enough power.  Hit the merge switch, still not enough power.  Tried to start the engine, no dice.  For some strange reason, the house and starter batteries were both too low to do anything.  By this time we started smelling burnt electronics.  I turned the inverter off and there was anough juice left to start the gen.  I think my Zantex is fried.  Drove all day with the gen. working and everything is fully charged.  Tomorrow I will be in Modesto, CA, and will start looking for a Magnum or Outback inverter, and someone to install it before proceeding to Arizona.  Any suggestions and advise would be appreciated.

We are looking at the 1998 45' Newell single slide at Motorhomes of TX.  They own the coach, not a consignment.  It looks in decent shape but won't air up. I'm afraid the slide seal is dead, tires are 2009 and batteries are questionable.  What else do I need to look for that is a know problem with these years?  the price seems OK but I don't want to overpay and then find out something big is wrong.

Currently, Newell is only showing 1 "New" Newell, the black Business Class VIP #1460 and 16 used Newells.

This is one of the lowest inventories of Newell I have seen the factory have in years.

Was coming back for Santa Fe NM and stopped and  filled up with 130 gal of fuel and spent the night at Oasis RV in Amarillo. The next morning after entering on I40 east I noticed check engine light (Yellow) on the dash counsel come on for a few seconds and then go off, I also received a message on the Diesel Pro? come on and said FUEL CIRCUIT TEMP HIGH. This continued for around 10 miles and I called James Veal @ Tempest and discussed this problem with him. He said I may have a sensor acting up, would not damage the engine and would probably go out. So after 15 miles I went up to my normal 65 MPG and the check engine light did go out and did not come on again. All gages and performance was normal while the light was coming on. The fuel filter also looked fine 1/3 fuel in bowl.

Any inputs would be appreciated
