This is the best park I have seen in a long time for the total package.
I strongly suggest the next "Guru Gathering" be held here. The property is called Quail Ridge RV Resort and is located in Huachuca City, AZ .. www.quailridgerv.com.. I know the website makes it look kinda blah , but I assure you this area is one of the Country's most beautiful and it is currently 67 degrees and yesterday a high of 82. Only 15 minutes south of I-10. I know your thinking that it can't be cool there it's too far South.... It's 4700 ft elevation and surrounded by small mountain ranges. The park is paved and no dust packed stone sites. There are trees and grass and a lot of space and pull thrus for Ron,Forest and Marc where they can keep all the toys and haulers at the sites. There are more Razor riding areas than I can point out and the best is the price. if you are FMCA or Good Sam it's only $10 a night + $3 for 50 amp service and they even lease spots for a year in the rear section of the park for around $2500. Great for storage on electric. Anyway if you are traveling East or West on Rte 10 in AZ this is a good place.

We have an appointment to have Air Force one installed in our tow vehicle. Has anyone been to their facility in Newburgh Indiana? How us the parking for overnight?

Let me start this with I hate plastic parts!
I was routing around by the radiator fan in response to a phone call from Bill Johnson. He had found two hoses that were badly chafed. The two hoses from the transmission cooler to the transmission cross under the radiator shroud and hose chafing occurs where they cross. I would suggest that you check these hoses because if they blow you will be stuck on the side of the road. The chafing on my hoses were not as bad as Bill's, but I wanted to shroud the two hoses from continuing to rub--future project will be to replace & reroute the hoses to avoid this problem. As I was installing the shroud I suddenly was getting a coolant bath. You guessed it I got into the coolant tank & it broke. I hate plastic parts!
Having a background in auto racing there is no excuse for a part breaking twice. Therefore I began looking for an alternative that would not break in similar circumstances. I found a tank manufacturer in Kansas--http://www.aluminumgastanks.net/options.html I spoke with the owner who stated he could make an 8" round aluminum tank, 16" tall with two 1/4" NPT bungs welded in the bottom for $174. He stated polishing it was $225 more. I ordered the tank on Monday and received the tank on Friday via free shipping UPS. Tank was as ordered--rough aluminum with tank clamps and a nice vented cap.
I had picked this size tank because I wanted to use the Arize tank's clamping system with the rubber mounting. The new tank fit in the same spot. You'll notice that the tank is polished--that is the result of ten hours of sanding & polishing.
There is a quite a current thread on used Newells on RV.net. You might want to weigh in.
One of my amemometer cups broke off during the hail storm at Spearfish. The only replacement I found was a new Girard anemometer for $142+shipping. I ordered a wireless wind sensor replacement cups from La Crosse Technology outlet--$9.95+$3.40 shipping. I ordered on the 8th, first class mail and received it on the 11th. I pried off the broken cups using two screwdrivers. The shaft on the anemometer is .160. I used a #22 drill (.157") to increase the center hole size, which allowed for a press fit which is how the original one fit. The fix passed the first test of bringing in the awning when the cups were spun.

Learned two things today , 1. My squirrel cage motor went kaput.. 2. If your fire extinguisher is below full charge it will keep your generator from starting.. Safety measure

Changed my filter today had issues getting it to reprimand called Newell. They said right after you start it, put on fast idle.. Worked like a charm.

MsE is planning the out west fall trip.
Any recommendations on Ouray CO? Or Montrose?

Howdy Guru's
I did a forum search but didn't find what you might use for blocks under tires if HWH can't auto level...looking I'm front to back unlevel... so I need something under my front tires currently...
what types of boards/blocks do you' all use if any?
HWH showing 'Excess Slope'
What are issues if I stay in this position?
Appreciate your advise/input!
