The switch in bathroom and above microwave when switched causes red light above kitchen switch to light red....but the fan does nothing and no sound...if manually raised with knob it works....
the one over the pantry works by switch...
I have tried the knob shaft in various lock/unlock positions...but no luck....
Ideas?
Howdy-
Any ideas or experience with bathroom/bedroom skylight cover that will not open?
This baffled both Ron and I but just now getting around to asking...
He said he had opened in the past with little/no effort...but it will not slide any...not a fraction...you can move the cover up (vertically) a small amount...but seems something has moved or shaken down that is keeping it from sliding any at all...
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

I spent the better part of this week having work done at Newell. My coach was significantly out of alignment, both front and rear, and Pete spent a whole day setting it straight for only the standard fee. Other minor work and inspections were performed and (except for four gold plated tie rods) I am a happy camper. Competent, friendly and free run of the shop are big positives.
Tomorrow I take the coach to Big Cabin Diesel to have the valves and injectors adjusted. Hope it works out as well.
I am on a quest to develop a database with photographs of Newells where we have a known coach/VIN number.
I have accumulated several hundred photos of known Newells and dozens of photos of Newells where I am aware of the year model but not the specific coach number. If anyone has access to photos of one or more Newells where you are certain of the coach number please let me know. I can be reached for this purpose at photos at newellowner dot com.

According to Newell, there was ONE Classic Newell constructed after the introduction of the 1990 Series 2000. I had always assumed that it was a 1990. However, due to the effort of Pat Dwyer, I now know that it was a 1993 model #317.
If ANYONE runs across any information on #317, please let me know. The only things I know about this unique Newell so far is that is 40' long, no slide, mid-entry, Classic body style, I know the VIN, that it was registered in North Carolina in 1993 with less than 10,000 miles on it, and has been registered in Rochester Mills, PA in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Any photos or additional information about this unique Newell would be appreciated.

We are at Oasis RV Resort in Amirillo off I-40. It is fairly new and all paved with a good pool and modern facilities. good place if you pull a trailer as there is lots of room. No noise and cheap too....Lot's of SOB's here but no Newell friends....
Wait !!! I think we are starting to feel the magnetic pull of the the "Gurujmahal" !! We were headed to New Mexico (we thought), but this morning the GPS had a Skull and Cross bones on it ....
I have had a real problem posting to the site for 2 months now. Sometimes it takes several tries, but I have mostly given up until yesterday when I did nothing different, but now the road block is gone and I can reply better.
Sorry Bill J that it took me a couple of days to get back to you on the radiator. Let me know what you do and where as maybe "I have a guy"....
The best bug remover I have ever used is the Wizard Bug Release and the Wizard Mist and Shine is a detailing spray the creates a very slick surface.
a woman sideswiped us last month and her clear coat peeled off the surface of an area that was just sprayed and hour before. Even the paint shop at Newell saw this impressive display and I guess that's why Newell is currently using these two products exclusively right now.
You can buy in bulk from Wizard. Try some next time you are at Newell Service. It is really good stuff...I remember how a few of you said my coach was so "shiney" at the Ark Rally and since I started using these products, I hear this all the time now. I have become addicted to "clean and shiney" like my friend Steve B ....
Yesterday as always driving down the road my gen temp went as high as 260 before the panel indicated ''Hi"... My gen temps are all over the place for years and spoke with several pros who agree that it's not a problem. I usually run 176 on average and whenever motionless, but rolling sure does create extra heat and I range from 170 up to 225 and sometimes like yesterday all the way up to 260 and with no coolant loss. Whenever I stop for a break the gen temps always fall. Just had it serviced and all good.
Now the reason for the post..
What temps do you run on the gen set in all types of use and weather ??
