Gang,
Many of us keep detailed travel records of the places we go, the prices and amount of fuel we use and the maintenance stuff we do to our coaches. I wanted to share something that I have done for the past year or so.
I got a map and attached it to a cork board. Whenever I park the bus overnight at a new location, I add a pin. (I skip the wally world stops).
I reminds me that I need to get my bus further away from my home base. I put special colored pins for our mecca in Miami and for my home base in Auburn, Alabama.
Thought you guys would like to see. Also, if you have other ideas please feel free to share!
Cheers,
bill

We got back from fridgid alberta monday nite and back to our wittmann home tuesday about 2:15pm. we were home 5 minutes and then loaded into the golf cart and drove to the road to meet clarke and elaine to guide them into our place. it is so good to have them with us and to hang out again. we had a great dinner from the grill at the little country store near our house and ate in the ramada while watching the sun go down.
they think they will get to leave but our house is like hotel california.
anyone else in town?
tom

Ok going to look at the stacker trailer this weekend.. Was told it has 2 cameras. One for the rear of the stacker and another interior one so you can watch the interior. Will I need to add 2 more monitors or is there a switching system available?

I removed the dash cover to stealth mount the VMS PC cords. While in there I removed an old Motorola car phone. Remember those? And a GPS sender with a serial connection, and two generations of obsolete Satellite wiring.
I'll move the CB mounting to the far left. I don't know why Newell mounted in such an obtrusive place right over the accelerator.
I have a couple of push on air fittings on the air brake cylinder which will get replaced.
I will probably take the dash heat damper box out since the fan is squealing. I'll fix the fan, check the box for proper sealing, and clean the coils.
Based on your inside the dash issues in the past, is there anything you would recommend I check or do while it's in pieces?

Just got back from a trip yesterday and on the way back, I noticed that the supply air tank gauge would drop to 90 lbs and immediately go to 115 lbs. then drop back to 90 lbs. in a period of about a minute. I ask my wife, which can hear better than I, to walk around the coach when we got home and coach in storage and engine off to see if she could hear any air leaks. As fast as it was going down it should be heard. She or I could not hear anything, and the gauge did not move. My 110 volt compressor cuts on about every hour and a half. How long it has been doing this I don't know, because I usually just glance down at the gauges then back to road. The brake gauge is working as it should. Whats going on here?
My wife and I want to go somewhere for spring break, we live in fort smith arkansas and anywhere within 1000 miles is good. We just want something warm.. We have considered big bend, grand can yon , quartzite, Florida, .. I need help any experience and suggestions is welcome..

Last night I turned off the led lights (6 of them over the window across from the bed) and then noticed they were glowing dimly. I turned them on and off a couple times but they still glowed. Kind of like a night light.
Any ideas? Maybe one of the switches is going bad and leaking a little bit of voltage?

Am looking at enclosed car haulers 20 and 24 ft with 5200lb axles was wondering if any of you can give me advice on what else I should be looking for in the construction/ specs...Tongue length etc? I'm doing the research from afar and hope to be back in japan in late April and then in States for the rally in June...Any experience and guidance on what to look for wil be greatly appreciated.
