Newell just sent out their Summer 2013 Newsletter. If you wish to get their newsletters by email, you can sign up on their website by clicking on the Newsletter tab and selecting Newsletter Sign-up. They include a link in the email to a pdf copy of the newsletter that you can download.

Articles in this issue include Karl Blade discussing the change to Sikkens paint, generator maintenance, a quick look at Coach 1480 with triple bunk beds in the hallway, Streamline Travel Home (the coach company that L.K. Newell purchased that became Newell) and an announcement of the South Carolina Lowcountry Rally May 12-16, 2014 at the Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort.

I have the Kohler 20kw generator and a Freedom 25 inverter with Link 2000 remote.
I'd like to add a generator auto-start, does anyone have any suggestions on what would work best with the above?

The new FMCA magazine has an article on the Newell Coach 2020P (page 52-57). Nice write up giving the sequence of construction and 'typical' features.

Well it looks like Garmin is about to release the RV version of the 760..

I've had good luck with the Big rig/RV version but the database was a bit lacking in the RV mode..

If someone springs for the new RV version ...give us a report....

Just got back from Newport, Oregon, where we went for a family wedding. This is a beautiful area, but has rain 300 days a year. We were right on the ocean, but never saw the sun in four days. Unfortunately, due to time restraints, we flew rather than taking the Newell. After flying, staying in hotels and eating out in restaurants, give me my Newell any day. My back has never been so sore after poor mattresses and pillows.

We did go look at the Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort in Newport. It is very nice and has some sites that have an ocean view. Only down side was the sites are a little close together. Newell was represented with two coaches.
