When I turn off the generator and I am attached to shore power I lose all power for probably 30 secs to a minute then the shore power kicks in.. I know there is shore power before then because the light on the dash lights up.. Is this normal? I just noticed this happening in the last week.

My Wifevhas said to me that she may want a washer/dryer combo installed in our coach. We don't have anything right now. I think this may be above my pay grade or at least the hooking up of the electrical and plumbing. However, the task does intrigue me and have completed many more projects on this coach before with help from all of you that I never thought I could do. So looking for input and suggestions.
We have a hallway closet next to the shower over the water bay that might work well since it would seem to privide good access to water, the holding tank and I imagine a way to tap into power.
Well we pulled into our winter spot near Cindy's mother back in late October. Thought we would take a trip or two but never found the time. Our granddaughters took up all of our free time. And I had a bunch of projects to do.
But we plan to head out Friday morning. We were going to head up the east coast but it seems every time I try to program a route in my gps it changes the destination to Wittman, AZ! So I guess we'll head west on I-10 towards Tom & Darlenes. Don't want them to get too lonely now that Clarke and Elaine have snuck out on them....
Can I operate my inverter/charger on less than 50 amps. If so how can I do this. For example while coach is at storage facility between outings. 97 model coach #438
I am installing Air Force One braking system for my towed Honda. Their special Coach Air Tank Assembly is installed in the coach and I am locating it at the back just above the engine electrical panel. I need two sources of coach air, Supply Air (unmetered) and Metered Air. My coach has two air connections on the rear bumper, and the metered air is on the drivers side and was used to supply air to my old system. I assumed the connector on the curb side was unmetered air, but there seems to be no air supply there. Can someone give me information on the curb side air connection?
Today after sitting for almost 5 months I moved the slides in and out in preparation for leaving Friday.
The rear slide seemed sticky, it wasn't smooth and made kind of like a groaning sound. The second time I operated it it moved smoother but still made a slight groaning sound. This slide has the raised floor and has a box under the bed that I assume is for the slide mechanism. I haven't removed that cover yet but probably will tomorrow.
Are there any points that need to be lubed?
According to RV Business, for the first time since 2008, Newell has decided to increase production. For the past 5 years, Newell has produced 24 coaches per year. Beginning today, April 1, Newell will increase production to 26 coaches per year. If the sales trends continue, Newell will incrementally increase production up to 30 coaches per year in 2015.
For the first time in many years, Newell is selling their show coaches before they make it through the production line. According to Karl Blade, Newell is now the market sales leader among ultra-luxury motorhomes.
Does anyone have a source for red version of this light? I can find the amber one everywhere, but not in red.
Does anyone know of a good body shop around Springfield MO, I guess within a few hundred mile radius?
I want to have my 76 painted and have some custom work done. I would prefer a shop that does alot of custom work and has a knack for creativity. Not quite sure what kind of paint scheme I want yet, I was thinking of upgrading but still want the vintage look. Any ideas?
this is one of my favorite tools. not specific to working on newells, but a handy tool none the less.
any ideas what it is?
