Maybe we should have a section for those Newellers that have passed on to Glory. A few days ago I was notified by Sonja Kure that her husband Bill had passed away. He fought for many years with cancer. They had a 1987 Newell. One that actually used to belong to Karl Blade. They have passed the coach along to a family member.

A couple years ago when Bill and Sonja was visiting at Senator Wash Bill developed a problem with the engine running rough. Well we solicited help from this web site and had much feed back. It was a trying time chasing down everything that seemed to be the obvious.End result was a blown fuse which shut down the co-pilot side of the engine. That was my fun time with Bill. Bill also made leather belts which I needed one so he gave me one he made which I wear daily. What a way to remember a friend! Every time put on my jeans and latch my belt I feel the design embossed on it and think of my friend Bill.
I miss my friend Bill!

One of the solenoids for the Dupree air operated dump valve is leaking air out of the exhaust port when the valve is open.
Is this normal? Doesn't seem like it should leak air after it opens the valve.
Has anyone replaced one of the solenoids and have a source for them other than buying the complete set from Dupree?
Thanks!

I learned today that Roger Berke now has both sizes of fuel filters for Newell Coaches. Most coaches that I saw in Spearfish have the larger one that is show in the link below. One had the Racor R12T that many other manufacturers use.

So if you need either size, Roger has them with same day shipping. Here is the link for the larger size I see in most Newell coaches.

Bob Livingston has a new article on the 2014 Newell. Motorhome Magazine: The Fine Life

I never cease to be amazed at the value some folks put on their coaches. 1990 Newell. The VIN number and the appearance would indicate this is likely a 1989 rather than a 1990. There was only one 1990 Classic built and it would have had a VIN ending in 214 to about 245. I suspect that the odometer reading is not correct at slightly under 20,000 miles also. It does appear to be in great condition.

I wish them the best of luck but fear they have over estimated the value of their coach rather dramatically.

Question for you all on inverters. The receptacles and several other things in the coach kitchen do not run unless I am running the generator or hooked to shore power. I am told though that if I have the inverter on that there will be power even if the generator is not running or I am not hooked to shore. I have an inverter on/off light type switch in the bedroom and in the kitchen. I have an inverter toggle switch on the dash as well. And finally there is a small on/off red switch on the bedroom wall above the electrical bay. I had the house and e gone batteries online tonight and had all 4 switches on and had no power to the electrical outlets.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Wanted to get opinion on clearing clogged up sink in newells
Is anyone found good products which wont harm tanks etc.

I am using bicycle's wheel spoke trying to get all the junk trapped in the sink , love to use Drain All or something similar but don't want to damage tanks etc, using chemicals solutions.

I have a 110v outlet in the curb side bay just ahead of the AquaHot bay. I do not have power to this outlet and am hopeful that someone can tell me where the switch, breaker and/or fuse is located. This would save me some time trying to locate the power sourse.

Our coach #413 was supposedly built with a Jenn Air grill in one of the bays. If any one has one installed pictures would be appreciated

Thanks
