Gang,
I talked to one of the Newell guys today...and was encouraged by what I heard. He said that they have been working 12 hour days in the service department and that all the new units have been sold and they are booked for the next year.
I think this bodes well for our favorite coach manufacturer! It is also good news for those of us that have Newells. Based on the fact that business is good in Miami, I expect that the value of our units will stay the same or maybe actually increase.
I have heard nothing but positive comments about the change at Newell and can't wait to see what the future holds.
Cheers,
bill

Gang,
I was digging around behind the panel above the driver and I found this (see photo) laying in the bottom of the cabinet.
Lets play what is it and what does it do!
I think I know what it is...but I want to see what you guys think.
Cheers,
bill
Okay, so we got the bode door fixed and now we can lock our coach!
We had used original code to lock our coach .Original owner was in bad health before selling his coach and we never got walk trough etc.
He past away after ick for whole year ( owned 3 other Newells )
So, our case is Cheryl can lock with lock buttom from the inside and coach is locked.
If i use keypad and et the code , coach won't lock ? each time you push the code sound and light is there and final sound comes up, but door will open when you hit the silver buttom.
Can we try to re code the pad or there are other thing might need to be don?
Its seems like the door's keypad got confused after we worked on the air door part.

I'm doing some research on interior layouts on Newell 45' coaches .I would like to see a schematic (with dimensions if possible) of typical floorplans. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Does anybody on the forum have a "blueprint" of your coach floorplan that you could share. My old '78 Newell came with several actual blueprints of the floor plan and wiring schematics!!! I have no such information for my '93.
Thx
Here is my AirSafe hitch installed. Now I can cover up the hole I had to cut in the bumper in order to use my previous hitch. Works like a charm...
My Stewart-Warner tachometer stopped working about 2.5 years ago. I would really like to get it working again, but really don't know where the sending unit is, or how to trouble shoot this properly. According to some this SW tach should be wired into the back of the gear driven alternator, but I cannot find any evidence it is connected there. Anyone here have a 6V92TA with a Stewart-Warner tach, besides Prarieschooner?
Hi all,
I sent a group email out to all of you this morning. Some people have gotten it as many as 8 times. I apologize if that happened. I dont mean to spam you with email.
hopefully if you received multiple ones from me that it has stopped. i cancelled the mailing.
i dont know if i goofed or the software did. either way i am sorry if you got deluged with my message.
regards
tom
I have 2008 Beaver Marquis and have had an accident that requires replacement of the shower enclosure. I found one for $4875.00 Anyone have a lead for me for a better price?
We spend alst 5 months in sunny and hot AZ & CA weather and i noticed one of the four fabric panels starting to fall apart , stiching got hammered by the sun and heat and just broke loose, so I had big long hole in the awning.
Trying to figure out some quick fix I bought 1" wide 3 M two side automotive tape and sticked both awning ends together, I know thsi amazing 3M tape can do the trick!!!
So far is holding very well!!
I alos used same tape in mounting bay's molding to the side of the coach , this stuff is super strong!!!
Hi All;
We have a 95 Newell coach 392, we are novices as fair as working on our unit...my poor husband, has a wife who is having a fit due to lack of hot water..if you get wet really fast in the shower and shut off the water, lather and shut it off, then turn it back on to rinse you can barely keep from freezing before you are done, that is without washing your hair!!!
This is on electric, with diesel it is immediately hot but does not last much longer...Washing a sink of dishes is not gonna happen no matter how conservative you are!!
I know this can not be right is it?? What are we doing wrong, is there something we have set wrong, not doing right?? We are camp hosting for 6 months and I know this will make me nuts if I have to take cold showers for 6 months!! Any help appreciated, as I said we are total novices to repairs etc, details please!!
best
Pat in the chilly Midwest!!
