Forum: Air Operated Systems and Leaks
- Replies (6)

Does anyone know what this is?

It is mounted to the air tank over the tag axle. It has some wires going to it.

It is leaking air so I need to replace it. I don't know what to search for . . . .

Thanks in advance!

We arrived at Crossing Creeks RV Resort and Spa located in Blairsville, GA in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a very nice resort very similar to Terra Bella with private lots, log cabins, top-notch amenities, and a beautiful view of the mountains. We are spending 2 months here because the power company installed fiber optical internet and TV to every site, and I can work over the Internet. Our lot is a pull-through double width and about 80' long with a view of the mountains out the fron windshield.  The park is only about half full, and so far we highly recommend.

The 10 hour trip from Destin, FL through Atlanta was good because the coach ran perfectly. Atlanta traffic and construction was another story, but we made it through unscathed :-)

We also learned that Good Sams gets a nice fuel discount at Flying J and Pilot stations. We are newbies so maybe you already knew that...

Folks, last year I installed some wood in an 06 4 slide Newell with rear bath. The bath has marble and had a few cracked pieces. I checked this out but didn't want to mess
with any tile. The client contacted his nephew who does tile work in homes. He came and it took 4 days to make the coach look like factory new. I was so impressed with his work, I put out a notice on my flooring forum about him. I have no clue what he charged, but getting someone to do tile in a coach is rare. He will be preforming the work on my property here in Texas. His name is Jacob Brown and phone number is 817-999-4522

The NewellGurus site offers two alternatives to communicate with other members privately. First, you can use the private message system (PM) and communications remain between you and the person you are communicating with only but the communications do reside on this site. The PM system is fast and easy for limited communications while remaining private or allowing you to provide your email contact information to a specific individual in private. If you want to establish a lengthy communication chain and exchange attachment (documents or photos) moving the conversation to private emails typically works best.

Secondly, you can use the email link. You will not see the persons email address when you use this link and they will not see your email address as the message will come from newellgurus.com. PLEASE do not click on reply to these emails as your response will not go to the individual who sent you the email but to the NewellGurus administrators. If you wish for the individual to respond to you by email, PLEASE include you email address in your message so you can start a conversation off the NewellGurus site. Otherwise, please use the PM system.

Both of these systems are designed to protect the email information for our members. This allows each member to provide their email only to those they wish to have it. Publishing an email address, phone number or other personal information on the open portion of any website can result in that information being harvested by spammers and circulated or sold on the dark web. Unfortunate but that is the reality these days.

I understand Newell add Easisteer and Stabilride to the coaches in 2013 or so, I understand how booth systems work and i see Newell can ad EasiSteer to older coaches for around $6500.00. As anyone done this or have driven a coach with and without this system that can tell me how big of a difference it makes? I think Newmar calls in Comfort steer. How about the Stabilride system, is this also an upgrade you can add? Thanks for any comments
Dan

My winegard direct tv Dish (slimeline) is apparently not sending signal to the Direct tv receivers.

I called Direct TV and Newell and after many tests, both think it's the Dish, possibly the transponders.  Unfortunately Direct TV will not work on the winegard dish and all the RV shops around me can't get me in for a few weeks.  we're getting ready to leave for a month long RV trip and I'd like to get it fixed before we leave.

I climbed up on roof just to check connections, wire condition, etc and all looks good.

If anyone knows anything about what it might be and how to fix, I'd greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks
Jason

As we all know, things happen. We were getting ready to leave Bella Terra yesterday when ,low and behold, the tow vehicles lights weren't working. Here comes Steve Bare to my rescue. After extensive troubling shooting I had a bad relay and converter box for the tow lights. Steve helped and advised even though it was raining and miserable. We, he, got it figured out and this morning got the new parts and are road ready. Guru Steve saved the day. Thank you Steve.
