Got my first cut to length “neon-like” led flexible rope light installed in large kitchen cabinet. It turned out really well. Wired it into the existing incandescent bulb switch. Going to wire in ones to the aisle lights under bed, bathroom counter and kitchen counter. Wires direct to 12v power so… no power supply required and they are “dimmable” so we’ll see how well that works with the aisle light circuit.

"Braeden Roesler is with Deb Roesler at Yellowstone National Park.

  · Yellowstone National Park  ·
(This post replaces my earlier one from this morning, which wasn't shareable).
Currently we're in Yellowstone Park this week. The past two days, it has been raining constantly. With river/water levels already high due to the June snow run-off, the rain water absolutely has added to the runoff and has absolutely demolished everything within reach of a river or creek. Last night, we saw rivers raging, picnic areas in the park completely flooded out with water going over boardwalks and through picnic tables. Areas the river is near the roadway, the water was mere inches or feet from going over the roadway. At the "Confluence" (where a creek and river meet in Lamar Valley) it was a big lake because the water was so high. We knew it was going to be bad, but not as bad as it seems to have been, but safely made it to our campground which was south of Mammoth.
This morning, we woke up to a nearly flooded creek next to our campground, then quickly were bombarded with text-alerts for road closures and other alerts due to the weather and flooding.
Almost the entire northern half of the park is currently closed. Basically everything north of Canyon and Norris junctions. All northern entrances to the park are closed or may be closing soon. The northern area of the park is being evacuated. Roosevelt Cabins were evacuated at 2:30am last night. Road sections are washed out in several areas between Gardiner and Cooke City.
Even outside of the park, there have been major flooding issues in Silver Gate/Cooke City, with power out and bridges and road sections completely wiped out. Road sections north of Gardiner, such as near Yankee Jim Canyon are wiped out or flooded over. Huge metal truss bridges, like the one here in the video, have been wiped out and washed away. In Red Lodge, major flooding has occurred in town and along most of Rock Creek. Major road sections have been carved away or flooded over and bridges in and around town have been wiped out completely. The town's entire water system is shut down and the city has no current alternative water source. Mammoth, Gardiner, Cooke City, Silver-Gate, and other towns or areas also have power and/or water outages due to compromised water lines or downed power lines.
And that's just the beginning of it. It is crazy and appalling seeing all of the posts, pictures, alerts, and the damage this flooding has caused in person. This is going to be a huge recovery effort for all parties involved and is going to take a long, long time to clean up and fix, with entire road sections, and even towns, affected by this. Thankfully I haven't heard of any  injuries, yet, and hope that continues going forward. Please, keep everyone in the affected areas, residents, workers, tourists and visitors, and emergency personnel, in your thoughts, and keep an eye out for ways to help such as fundraisers.
We will have limited cell coverage our remaining 2 nights down here in Yellowstone, assuming we aren't completely evacuated, but I will try to post updates over the next week as we see or hear more.
The park, Beartooths, Red Lodge, etc are my backyard and happy place, and it saddens me to see so much destruction, but know our wonderful communities and states will all come together to overcome this.
Feel free to add other photos/videos in the comments of this post if you have any.
Update: all entrances to Yellowstone are now completely closed to inbound traffic and visitors due to conditions."

We were headed west on I20 between Monroe and Minden this morning. Saw a newer model coach headed eastbound. Mostly black coach towing a black jeep gladiator.

This has been cussed and discussed before, but since I had an opportunity to fit a new hose to the Dupree attachment today, I thought I would post the easy solution.

For those who have done this or attempted this, you already know the male section of the Dupree attachment is larger than the ID of the sewer hose. The wire inside the sewer hose prevents you from easily stretching the hose to slip over the larger OD.

Locate a tapered glass or sturdy cup that the small end fits in the hose, but the large end is larger than the hose. Slip the sewer hose over the cup, and heat with a hair dryer. When the plastic is warm, you can slide it down a bit. Reheat and repeat until the hose will fit over the Dupree fitting. I use a standard radiator clamp to secure.

Hello all,

The A212SD-012-D valves on my coach are getting very hard to find. Is there a replacement model or other manufacturer that makes a comparable model?

Does anyone know if there is a fuse or breaker for Shoreline cord reel. I cannot retract or extend my Shoreline cord. Thanks in advance for your input.

I had issues with my mid coach vent not opening up. It is located behind cabinets so easy access was not available.

In my first attempt at repair I purchased a (defective) new motor. I installed the motor and it didn't work. That is when I purchased the new lift arm. The vent didn't work so I reinstalled the old motor. The vent worked as expected for a short while.

I bit the bullet and purchased a complete new vent. I wanted to keep the wall switch operational and did not want a remote control. The Model 3350 does not have one. The new vent has an additional feature the old one didn't - a thermostat controlling to open the vent when the inside temperature gets high.

In other threads it is mentioned you can use a new model fan with a little rewiring. The rewiring was not explained but I figured out the work around.
On the fan, I cranked the thermostat all the way to the coolest setting.
The power wires are just as you would thing. Hot wire and ground from the coach goes to hot wire and ground on the fan. These are thicker wires and fused in the wardrobe cabinet in the rear bath.
The open and close switch on the fan is where the 'unknown' resided. In the coach I had my wife operate the open/close switch on the wall while I watched the signal via voltmeter on the skinny cut wires on the roof. It appeared to be a latching +12v signal from the wall switch to the vent fan lid motor. I removed the wires from the open/close switch on the fan and installed tab connectors on these wires and the mating connectors on the coach wires. I had a 50/50 chance of getting this right. I guessed correctly on the first try and the lift motor and fan work as expected. I don't recall the color to color connections. If I knew I would get it right I would have reversed the connectors on the skinny wires to prevent getting the wires reversed in the future.

I bought a new Jeep to use as a toad. Of course, I know nothing about the cost of things let alone doing a self install when my time is so limited these days. There is a shop close by that does tow bar and baseplate installs. I was quoted around $5840 to install a Roadmaster baseplate on the jeep, Roadmaster nighthawk tow bar and an Air Force One braking system. They would supply and install those components along with whatever wiring needed. Is this a decent price? I really don't know what these go for... If I add a Motorcycle lift to the whole shebang, its around 7k. Yay, nay?
