So this never worked in my coach. Low air light flashes (now that I installed new LED indicators on the dash along with flashing module to get my attention) and the chime is very low volume. When I put my volt tester to check for power to the chime, I get 12.6v and then the chime wakes up to full audible capacity. Not sure why my tester (Typical Automotive probe type with awl style poker) Should I put in a resistor there? I thought I was told the owner had something done to quiet them down. I can't remember.

I have an issue with streaks on the side of the coach after a rain.  I have found this tool does a great job of wiping them off after the surface dries.

Furnace measures 16 1/2 wide x 7 3/8 high X 18 long. 20000 btu rating. This electronic ignition furnace operates on 12 VDC (4.6 amp) and LP Gas.

Removed it because I'm getting rid of LP gas on the coach. I will be removing another furnace (same make and model) and a third one that I don't know if it is the same model or not in case you are interested in more furnaces.

Asking $400 for each one.

Located in Arcadia, Florida.

Is anybody interested in a 1988 original jackknife sofa? I replaced mine with a new sofa (wood skirt, screws, drawers, everything) so if you want it please let me know or I'll throw it away, color is dark pink (real leather, not broken anywhere or faded, etc.)

I will upload pictures if anyone is interested on it.

Sofa is located in Arcadia, Florida.

Towing my 701 back to the repair shop,  the towing driver ask me to opon the front slide tray in the front tray, I don’t know how to as I never did it, and the engine could not be started as the battery seems too weak. The both batteries in 5he engine compartment shows date code: 3/22, so I believe they are still relatively new. But after this coach being worked and waiting for parts for nearly 3 months, either the batteries have exhausted or it has big drain somewhere while in engine off mode.
Are there any battery disconnect switch somewhere so I can totally disconnect it to prevent battery drain?

UPDATE:

The towing driver wasn’t able to tow it because the rear height being too low.

I found a pin hole leak in my front air tank. Has anyone sourced these or have so good leads. They are a brisk MFG air tank. The coach is 1987 40ft. I’m sure Newell used these tanks in multiple years. It’s approximately 9.5” diameter x 28”. Thanks

I washed the engine bay (Three day process of soaking and rinsing with garden hose pressure) When I was done I noticed the left side of the coach loses air overnight and leans over. Can't figure it out. Right side holds well. Service brake pressure holds air fine according to gauge. Any ideas where to start looking? There must have been over an inch of caked on dried grease on the bottom side of the engine/transmission.

Well... we made it 130 mile from our house in middle TN on our way to Newell to see Creslie and the team for some service and to explore the Pawhuska area for the week...
We have the CAT C15 and the power steering went out as we were driving on I-40W... The Lord was looking out for us as the issue happened 1 mile from the next rest area so I was able to limp it (without power assist steering) to the rest area on I40W near Holladay TN - where we are now sitting... I searched the forum and found the thread re: the hydraulic fan issue. I called Newell and Creslie called me back and gave me the part numbers (attached) I will need to have replaced to remedy the issue...  problem is that it being Saturday... the parts cannot even be ordered from CAT until Monday and they are going to have to come from Illinois... so probably 3-5 days if they are even available.
I met a tow operator that said he can tow us back to my local CAT dealer but it will be Monday...  I am open to any thoughts, advice and definitely prayers for us to get things resolved as smoothly as possible.
Thanks,
Paul and Angi

Is there a rebuild kit for these? I would rather keep the original than fit an AD-9. The bottom gaskets have some air leaks. I have been going around with bubble soap finding many leaks. My front Aux compressor went from running every 7 min to 25min. I have three decent leaks discovered that will bring that time distance a little better. In my quest I discovered the air dryer leak. I have looked online to no avail. Maybe someone knows of a site?
Thank you!

On 698 I have two battery disconnect switches, one for the inverter bank and one for the house. Without wiring diagrams it appears each of the two banks are dedicated. My question is why would these two banks be isolated from each other? I am contemplating installing a contactor that would merge the two banks. This would allow all the battery capacity to be utilized as needed to supply all electrical DC demands. Thanks for any feedback and suggestions.
