Hi all, 
I am looking for a 90's Newell. Ideal would be 40' but would be happy with a 45. I am hoping to stay under 50k but for the right coach could go higher. #394 listed here for 79k is a little more then I am wanting to spend but with the series 60 it does check most of my boxes and if it was closer would have pursued it. I have a mechanical and electrical background so would lean towards a newer coach that needs a little love then pay top dollar for an older coach. 
I live in western Oregon but will travel for the right one.

On my passenger side engine access door, the lift/push strut is kaput.

Measuring the length is pretty easy, but the label is worn out. Anyone know the appropriate poundage?

The Label does have a number on it. "2853"

While cleaning and prepping the coach for a trip, I came across this jumpered harness line in the generator box. It's the Kohler. My suspicion is it's the Fire Extinguisher cutoff line... But am not sure.

Can someone shed some light on this?

Our rear AC is giving me problems , seriously considering replacing the unit . 
I believe the AC is the original Duo Therm 13,500 btu unit , according to the installation and operating instructions it's a Model 6000015-01 or 6000115-01 . The Dometic Brisk II looks to be a good replacement , but I am wondering if anyone here has actually installed one on their Classic ? 
I realize there will likely be a difference in interfacing the duct going to the bath , but I don't see that as a deal breaker .

Moving to a 2014 Newell from a Monaco Signature.  We have been camping in hard sided campers for nearly 40 years and did backpack camping before that.  Lots of dry camping which we hope to continue with the Newall.

I have never had a camper in a shop for repairs and with help from this forum I hope to continue doing all of the repairs.  There is a lot to learn!

For those of you out there with exterior doors PRIOR to the Bode air doors…..
Now that we’re finally getting some decent weather in the Midwest we would love to use our retractable screen door and get even more airflow, but I can’t figure out how to get the door to stay open.  Our Newmar had a built in lock open mechanism in the door and we had a previous coach that had a flip up metal bar that clicked into a piece attached to the exterior of the coach. Are we missing something? We can’t seem to see any way to secure the door in the open position.  Thanks!   

Last Thursday on I15 in Eastern Idaho. I've owned RVs built like this until I learned about Newells.

Thank you to all who served our country.  We see on the news every day the sacrifices made in Ukraine to defend their freedom. Our veterans have made the same sacrifices in other times to defend our freedoms.

My last unit was a Winnebago 42qd. My question today is, it had a power management system that would allow me to plug into a 120V 15 receptacle and power the basic necessities and charge batteries. Does a Newell have that option or does it have to be 120/240V 50 A?

Hello. New to forums and new to Newell. Been fulltiming with our 3 boys in our montana fifth wheel but have realized in the last few months that we want to switch to a motorhome experience. Newells and prevost have caught our attention for obvious reasons. After a lot of research but still more to do we have landed on a 1995 newell. Its a beauty inside and out. I guess Im just hoping that anybody out there can either confirm or warn against this particular year as far as any manufacturing problems, delamination or other major things? We realize purchasing a quality coach comes with possible increased expenses just as buying a Porsche cost more to maintain than a toyota...and we are excited and ready for the challenge to repair the 'small' things ourselves and learn as much as we can on the way.
