So do to my engine ac locking up I have been driving the Newell without my engine belt for a bit.  But then without any tension on the alternator the mounting bolts worked loose.  I caught the problem before the alternator fell off.  I was at the shop and they said I need a "smash sleeve".  It goes on one end of the pivot bolt.  They can't get me one without getting me a new alternator.  It appears to me to be just a bushing that fits around the bolt and one end of the alternator mounting bracket.

So can I just use a bushing or do I need to get this special smash sleeve?  My alternator is a Penntex 3S285 and I'll contact them if I need it.

I hope this fits here.

I have a lean right, side high in travel mode. It's not just the front or rear its both about 1.5" higher than the 11.5" it is supposed to be to the fender supports.

Any ideas where to start looking for answers?

I extended my passenger side salon window awning too far this morning and it will now only retract about 6 inches and then it stops.  Anyone else ever do something this foolish and figure out how to get it to retract?  My drivers side hits a stop and does not extend this far, but he passenger side did not.

Edit: I heard a phrase once from an MLB player that went something like "if you aren't humble when you enter the league prepare to be humbled". Not sure if I'm even in humble mode, but maybe boy do I feel stupid mode.

So here is the deal as I now understand it and hopefully this will give everyone a chuckle and maybe save someone else the panic I was in. This fool extended his window awning on the passenger side curb while the night shades were down because the shade was down at the time and because on the other awnings they just went out until they hit the stop. Never seemed to stop to so go open up the door and look out the awning is all the way down. I raise my shade so I can now see what I'm doing and attempt to retract and it comes up 6 inches and stops. I'm looking around and also notice the fabric is now wrapping around the top of the roll vs. the bottom like the other three. A couple of phone calls later I figure out that the reason it's only coming up 6 inches is that I need to adjust the stop on the retract to at least be able to get it back in to come home. This was partially true, but I made the adjustment rolled it up and then needed a couple of zip ties as it does not pull back in entirely snug because it's wrapping around the top of the roll vs. bottom, but I got home.

So I get home, cut off my ties and fully extend only to feel just absolutely stupid as once you go past fully extended it just starts rolling up on the other side like it was supposed to be and not extend turns into retract on the underneath side of the roll. Was a laugh out loud moment as I realized what I'd done. Just wasn't thinking through that there was only one way that was going to go from rolling on the top vs. bottom and vice versa. Not my finest moment of analysis, but hopefully I've at least provided a little entertainment.

The chrome on my mirrors is peeling. Does anyone know the brand of the mirrors? What is involved in replacing them?
Thanks

I am curious.  What are the typical repair times for coaches that go to Newell for repairs/service?  What is the longest you have left your coach at the factory?

My parents have a coach that was dropped off in January but as of today, has not been fixed/repaired.  They originally left the coach with a list of repairs/service and they were looking at having new floors installed.  They ended up deciding against the floors a few months ago, but the repairs have still not been completed.  Currently, it is pending a repair on the engine break (which Newell sent off to another shop a month or two ago but the issue was not resolved so they sent it back out).

I am not meaning this post as a complaint by any means, but rather trying to get a feeling for whether or not this is normal.  The same coach was left at Newell for roughly 4-5 months a couple of years ago as well.  This just seems really inefficient to me.

I had both of the original Fantastic Fans replaced with MaxxFan Delux 7000K This is the white cover integral rain hood.

I over paid for the fans at Camping World. But I could get them that day.

The installer was ADABOY RV in Loveland Co. Y RVhttps://adaboyrv.com/ Good man stood by his quote. Fair pricing. I would recommend for most all coach side of things. He is not a chassis guy.

The fans can have a remote mounted just like the Fantastic Fans, for now I just have the hand held remotes mounted in the respective cabinets. Not as convenient for sure hut it's really nice how much quieter the new covers are going down the road. These fans have all the same functionality. Like variable speed control (in steps of 10%), automatic temperature control, plus the ability to reverse the flow, so they can draw in or push out.
Also nice to not have a 14" hole in the rood covered by a trash bag. The Fantastic Fans were so sun rotted that one of the lids ripped off (yes it was closed) during a wind storm. So I had traveled about 1000 miles with that bag flapping in the wind.

I tried to attach some photos but the system is not having it.
