Hi, I am working on the bay compartments and would like to know the manufacturer of the pull-type latches. i have one missing the lock therefore the locking actuator is non-functional. Also need a couple of toggles.
Thanks,
I find that I use my coach 25% of the time with the salon slid in. This makes the coffee table a big lump that keeps jumping in front of my toes.
Anyone want it? Its black with a clear (but scratched) inlay center top.
I'm too fat and crippled to safely climb on top of my coach to remove and replace both my rood fans.
I'm looking for recommendations for a technician to do the job.
Thanks in advance.

I am selling a #340 1994 Newell for my family
No slide, 143,570K miles has the Detroit 8V-92 500HP.
A few things, the outside body has some roughness and radiator has a dent but does not leak.
Has Propane for the stove and heater.
First owner was Lowell Sharpe for people that know him or about him.
This bus is in great shape and ready to roll.
Asking $60k or best offer as is.
The bus is in Albuquerque, NM and has been in an enclose storage
FYI Because the bus is located in Alb NM and I’m in Chandler, AZ. The bus is my mom's but since my step
dad passed last year she had decided to sell. Any questions I cannot answer I have to see about getting someone to the bus to get the answers.
If you are serious looking for more info, please email me at [email protected]
My 86 #121 doesn’t charge the chassis batteries when the engine is running. For that matter the alternator doesn’t keep the lights etc operating either. I have been driving with the generator running to keep all systems functioning. I removed the alternator and had it tested. Fully functional with 130 amp output at 14 volts according to the shop. Where to go next? Chassis batteries charge from the inverter just fine.
I have a 2015 (coach 1517) and everything is fine at this point. When inspecting the slide seals, a couple of them are showing signs of wear.
What is the "normal" time that these need to be replaced, and what is the cost to have this service done
Thanks
Electrical problems:
I installed a macerator on PS, wired direct to house battery with toggle switch by spider control panel. Works fine.
It all started with fixing air conditioner 1 (AC1).
tested found no power at the unit.
checked breaker had power out.
traced wire to relay box that wasn't working.
It is below the main panel and controls AC1 & AC3. turns the power on or off via a signal wire (don't know (yet) what signals it).
jumped the signal wire and relay worked. stays active till i unplug shore power.
during the trouble shooting I turned main power on and off several times.
The 120 volt compressor wouldn't come on.
Newell took me thru total coach power rest for the spyder wire. it worked.
ran the macerator Shortly after I run the macerator the aqua hot will turn itself on in diesel mode Sometimes the auto tank fill turns itself on When the aqua hot is running as above, pressing the button turns the light on but the unit goes off after a cool down
The lights on the spider panels for that function seem to be opposite.
I am looking for the sypder wire control box location. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.
haven't run macerator for 2 days and it seems the auto fill (city water valve) is ok, still lights as above and aqua hot turns on each afternoon.
I am going to run the macerator from a remote battery box to see if the macerator is causing a signal problem in the DC.
I had to replace an air fitting on the 6 pack. when airing back up there was a big bang heard and felt throughout the coach from the rear.
all wheels were on the ground, no jacks / stands.
looked under, no idea what caused it. had done it before when airing up from 0.
ZF suspension
Hey gurus
I changed my inverter from prosine to the MS2812, this was installed by Newell in indio in January.
I sent the pm001 up to silverleaf for reprogramming, I got the box back but the Magnum remote only shows a red fault on the panel using the existing wires. I was advised by Mark at Silverleaf to get a common phone cord, off to Wallyworld I go.
I bought a phone cord. Plugged it into the remote port and the remote panel and hey Mikey it works!! Now the issue is to solve why the PM001 won't or can't see the data coming from the inverter to the Total Control panel.
I was tasked with making up a new phone cord and reverse the 4 wires so that the PM001 would accept -data and the +data.
There are four wires, yellow, green, red and black. I need to know which ones transfer the data and try to invert them from the configuration of the end that plugs into the remote.
I'm sure that I sound like I know what I'm talking about but I can assure you I'm just following orders!! Lol. Does ANYONE have this info. PLEASE???
Hey all, my name is Dan. I’ve been lurking/ looking for a while. I currently own an 88 beaver Marquis, and want to upgrade. We travel with our Dobermans, and need more room. I’ve been looking at super “C”s, Foretravel, Newmar and Newell. My wife says I have champaign taste on a beer budget. Mostly true, but I want quality. Trying to stay under $150k so I know my choices are limited. I just found a 2002 Newell quad slide. Seller says the air system for the slides doesn’t work, so the slides don’t work either. How big a job might this be?i Dan
